The Courage to Change Starts With Choosing Yourself with Tiffany Peterson

If sales has ever felt uncomfortable, overwhelming, or out of alignment with who you are, this episode of Sales with Ease will completely transform the way you think about growing your business. Laura shares the heart-centered philosophy behind Limitless Women and introduces her proven seven-step sales framework, showing how authentic service—not pressure or persuasion—is the foundation of sustainable sales success.

Rather than focusing on scripts, closing techniques, or overcoming objections, Laura explains how clarity, genuine curiosity, and meaningful connection create sales conversations that feel natural for both you and your prospective clients. She walks through each step of her proven process, from understanding the real challenges your ideal client is facing to building trust, uncovering what's truly holding them back, and confidently inviting them into partnership when the timing is right.

This episode is a powerful reminder that sales with ease isn't about convincing people to buy it's about serving the right people with confidence, integrity, and purpose. When you lead with your unique brilliance and approach every conversation as an opportunity to help, sales become a natural extension of the impact you're here to make.

What You’ll Hear:

  • Discover why the most successful sales conversations begin long before an offer is ever presented, creating a foundation of trust that changes the entire experience.
  • Explore how clarity around your unique business model influences every conversation and naturally attracts the right clients without relying on pressure or persuasion.
  • Learn why understanding the emotional impact of a client's challenge creates far deeper connections than simply discussing products, services, or features.
  • See how objections become opportunities for greater alignment when conversations are guided by curiosity, service, and genuine partnership.
  • Understand why consistent sales growth is ultimately built through disciplined systems, recurring lead generation, and an unwavering commitment to serving the people you're uniquely called to help.

Welcome to the Limitless Women podcast. Our mission is to

Intro:

help women business owners like you grow profitable businesses

Intro:

and actualize your opportunities to serve and give to yourself

Intro:

and others. Here's your host, the founder of Limitless Women,

Intro:

Laura Gisborne.

Laura Gisborne:

All right, my friends, welcome back to this

Laura Gisborne:

very special episode of the Limitless Women podcast. It is

Laura Gisborne:

my privilege and my honor to share with you, a woman that I

Laura Gisborne:

respect and admire and have known for a long time, and

Laura Gisborne:

somehow I reeled her in today. So get ready for a great ride

Laura Gisborne:

and help me welcome Tiffany Peterson to our community,

Tiffany Peterson:

sweetheart. It's so good to see you. I love

Tiffany Peterson:

spending time with my fellow ginger sister.

Laura Gisborne:

Yes, yes, and

Tiffany Peterson:

the vibrancy that you are, and what you're

Tiffany Peterson:

creating. So, thank you for having me.

Laura Gisborne:

Thank you, thank you so much. And I'll just, you

Laura Gisborne:

know, tell a little story of how we got to be here today. Was

Laura Gisborne:

that I reached out? I've been following Tiffany. We've been

Laura Gisborne:

friends for a long time. We were trying to figure out it was

Laura Gisborne:

Brendan Burchard, or did we meet in those days when he was just

Laura Gisborne:

getting started? We meet through e women or through all of the

Laura Gisborne:

above, and brought us together. But we would get to see each

Laura Gisborne:

other years ago, and then we didn't get to see each other for

Laura Gisborne:

a long time. And I just decided that I should reach out to you

Laura Gisborne:

and ask if you'd come and speak at my event, not realizing, of

Laura Gisborne:

course, that obviously I know you have a lot of other things

Laura Gisborne:

going on. And you were like, "Yes, and this is my speaker

Laura Gisborne:

fee, and this is what I do. And I said, I so appreciate that.

Laura Gisborne:

And this is a fundraiser, and I'm wondering if you would be

Laura Gisborne:

available. And you said, give me a little bit more time next

Laura Gisborne:

time. And in the meantime, let's catch up. So we got on a call,

Laura Gisborne:

and I just was so thrilled to reconnect with you. It's been a

Laura Gisborne:

long time, and it's such a pleasure. And I feel like you

Laura Gisborne:

have so much wisdom that you've imbued on me. I can't wait to

Laura Gisborne:

have more women get to know you.

Tiffany Peterson:

Well, thank you again. I think that you know

Tiffany Peterson:

when people are doing great things in the world, and you're

Tiffany Peterson:

doing so much good, and it's like there's just a magnetism to

Tiffany Peterson:

that. So when you'd reached out, and then we had the opportunity

Tiffany Peterson:

to talk and catch up, and it was like, oh my gosh, woman! It just

Tiffany Peterson:

I left that conversation feeling so edified.

Laura Gisborne:

Yay! Good as you as you should, and acknowledged

Laura Gisborne:

for all the good work you do in the world and how many lives you

Laura Gisborne:

change just by who you be all the time. Which is is really

Laura Gisborne:

think Tiffany when I think back to when I met you and I was in

Laura Gisborne:

so many ways in my infancy with my leadership of my voice and

Laura Gisborne:

being a speaker, and you already had all this experience and

Laura Gisborne:

wisdom, and you know we've got your bio here. We know where you

Laura Gisborne:

came from, but I would love for you to share a little bit of

Laura Gisborne:

your journey from where you got into personal development and

Laura Gisborne:

and what what that took you on, right? Because there's a whole

Laura Gisborne:

lot of things that happened along the way that have you know

Laura Gisborne:

culminated in the magnificence of who you are today. So, how

Laura Gisborne:

did you get into this work where you're sharing your own voice

Laura Gisborne:

and your own message?

Tiffany Peterson:

Well, the very short answer is God.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

like, like there it is. But I think all of

Tiffany Peterson:

us can relate to that life looks different than the way we

Tiffany Peterson:

planned.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah.

Tiffany Peterson:

So think about that, every one of you.

Tiffany Peterson:

Thinking, does life look exactly the way that I thought it would

Tiffany Peterson:

be, or the way it would go, and what I would be doing? And no,

Tiffany Peterson:

and that's part of what makes life so rich and beautiful, and

Tiffany Peterson:

the experience of the adventure of life and living, and the

Tiffany Peterson:

twists and the turns and the plot twists because what I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

doing today, I didn't grow up thinking about doing what I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

doing today. It was not this like I know I want to be this

Tiffany Peterson:

businesswoman and I want to speak in front of groups and I

Tiffany Peterson:

want to do these kinds of things. Absolutely not. My

Tiffany Peterson:

intention was I'm going to be a school teacher and then get

Tiffany Peterson:

married and be a stay at home mom and sew Halloween costumes

Tiffany Peterson:

and raise babies and you know do life in that way and my life

Tiffany Peterson:

just looks very different than what I thought it was going to.

Tiffany Peterson:

And there's beauty in that. There's been pain in that, just

Tiffany Peterson:

like anyone else listening. But I think choosing into the path

Tiffany Peterson:

of being a seeker and a student, and I truly like I say that, but

Tiffany Peterson:

I really did mean like I'm on this path because of God, and in

Tiffany Peterson:

my faith path, and then my relationship with Spirit, you

Tiffany Peterson:

know the way that that's been cultivated. And just to be

Tiffany Peterson:

clear, I respect how everyone presences to their higher power

Tiffany Peterson:

and what names they may give that, the ways they connect to

Tiffany Peterson:

it. I no longer believe in the thought process that everyone

Tiffany Peterson:

should do it my way, and there's only one way. It's like no,

Tiffany Peterson:

that's quite limiting. But my own experience was, you know, I

Tiffany Peterson:

I thought I was going to be a special needs teacher. I worked

Tiffany Peterson:

in three classrooms as an aide to the teacher I was going to

Tiffany Peterson:

university. They were all elementary ed classrooms, and

Tiffany Peterson:

specifically, again, special needs. Always had a soft spot

Tiffany Peterson:

for that, and while I loved that time, I happened to go on a

Tiffany Peterson:

double date in college. Coincidence or not, the woman,

Tiffany Peterson:

the woman and the other couple, her dad had a training

Tiffany Peterson:

development company, and I was fascinated and curious. Like

Tiffany Peterson:

much of the night at dinner, I was asking her, "Well, what does

Tiffany Peterson:

this mean, and what does that look like, and how do you work

Tiffany Peterson:

with people and companies and skills and tools and things like

Tiffany Peterson:

that? And within a few months, I was working for that firm, and

Tiffany Peterson:

then from that firm, I became aware of Franklin Covey. And

Tiffany Peterson:

some of you know that name, some of you don't, but Stephen Covey,

Tiffany Peterson:

he's since passed, bless his soul. He wrote a very well-known

Tiffany Peterson:

book called the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and I I

Tiffany Peterson:

was fascinated by this work. It was so principle based, and it

Tiffany Peterson:

felt like so edifying and so much light. Well, I went to work

Tiffany Peterson:

for Franklin Covey, and I became a top salesperson. I was selling

Tiffany Peterson:

coaching programs, y'all. Back in the day before coaching was a

Tiffany Peterson:

big thing, and we were still explaining to people what a

Tiffany Peterson:

coach was.

Laura Gisborne:

Now,

Tiffany Peterson:

right, because now coaching is everywhere.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah, I mean,

Tiffany Peterson:

we're talking. This is probably like 2000 458,

Tiffany Peterson:

more 20 years ago. More

Laura Gisborne:

than 20 years ago, us were having this. Yeah,

Laura Gisborne:

so people didn't even. It wasn't hip to be a coach. There was

Laura Gisborne:

like, what's a coach?

Tiffany Peterson:

Well, you, yeah. What is a coach? And like

Tiffany Peterson:

a tennis coach, a soccer coach, like what are we talking about?

Unknown:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

and I was selling coaching programs over

Tiffany Peterson:

the phone, Lara, for a few $1,000 and I would close lots

Tiffany Peterson:

and lots of sales and became a top salesperson. We didn't have

Tiffany Peterson:

eye contact. We didn't even have Zoom.

Laura Gisborne:

Right, right. We weren't meeting

Tiffany Peterson:

in person. I had to train my ear how to read

Tiffany Peterson:

energy, and so my sales skills of I didn't have body language,

Tiffany Peterson:

I didn't have like eye contact, I couldn't read the physicality,

Laura Gisborne:

right?

Tiffany Peterson:

Just simply tonality, and the energy, and I

Tiffany Peterson:

learned how to become a very successful salesperson, and I

Tiffany Peterson:

was successful because I so believed in what I was

Tiffany Peterson:

representing, and whatever you're going to sell, that's

Tiffany Peterson:

such a key piece. It's that it's not just about making a sale;

Tiffany Peterson:

it's about making an impact. It's about making a difference.

Tiffany Peterson:

And when people feel that and experience that, and I really

Tiffany Peterson:

just cared a lot about helping these people get out of their

Tiffany Peterson:

ruts, get out of their old habits, to get a coach, to get

Tiffany Peterson:

support for a period of time, to help them crest the change

Tiffany Peterson:

process, because change is not always easy, as we all know.

Laura Gisborne:

Exactly,

Tiffany Peterson:

it's challenging. It can be very

Tiffany Peterson:

hard, and to leave old habits that are quite familiar, even

Tiffany Peterson:

when we're aware, right? Like how often we're already aware,

Tiffany Peterson:

like certain habits are not in our best interest, but they can

Tiffany Peterson:

be hard to change because they're a habit. So that's going

Tiffany Peterson:

way back in the archives. But I mastered the art of selling,

Tiffany Peterson:

selling by my ear over the phone, and I became a top 10.

Tiffany Peterson:

Which I was their first female in that company to have this

Tiffany Peterson:

accolade. I was their out of like 120 salespeople, the first

Tiffany Peterson:

female to be a top 10 salesperson, like an annual

Tiffany Peterson:

presidents club, an annual once a year recognition, and it

Tiffany Peterson:

changed my life. I was in my mid 20s making six figures as a

Tiffany Peterson:

young girl in Utah. Okay, everyone, like let's be clear,

Tiffany Peterson:

like

Laura Gisborne:

what you thought you'd be doing. Yeah, I

Tiffany Peterson:

was not a. I was not like I'm a boss, babe.

Tiffany Peterson:

I'm gonna be a business girl. I'm gonna be a hustler. I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

gonna close sales. It was like no, I was gonna be a school

Tiffany Peterson:

teacher and then bake bread and raise babies. And here I was,

Tiffany Peterson:

like just having this breakout experience of changing my

Tiffany Peterson:

thoughts, developing confidence, learning how to sell, letting go

Tiffany Peterson:

of all my old beliefs that sales was icky and gross, and what did

Tiffany Peterson:

that mean? Not realizing, like sales is the essential skill to

Tiffany Peterson:

be able to connect, communicate, help people move forward, help

Tiffany Peterson:

them change their lives. Whether you're product based, service

Tiffany Peterson:

based, whatnot. So all that to say, I did so well selling that

Tiffany Peterson:

they asked me to start training other people, and now we're

Tiffany Peterson:

tapping into my true gifts, which is teaching, training, and

Tiffany Peterson:

I was in. I would have these spiritual experiences in these

Tiffany Peterson:

corporate environments, where I was a corporate sales trainer.

Tiffany Peterson:

And then, as life had it, the universe said, "Yeah, we've done

Tiffany Peterson:

enough of that. Let's get out of the nest. We're going to fire

Tiffany Peterson:

your boss and dissolve his team, and we're going to give you a

Tiffany Peterson:

severance package. Oh, joy! Good luck!

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

and it was the best gift. And I went out on my

Tiffany Peterson:

own, started my own little business, like knees knocking,

Tiffany Peterson:

voice trembling. What am I doing? Who? How do I go? I knew

Tiffany Peterson:

how to sell. Like running a business and marketing, and like

Tiffany Peterson:

my all of my network was in corporate, and I'm very

Tiffany Peterson:

entrepreneurial based in my market now, as you know, which

Tiffany Peterson:

is how we've crossed paths and things like that. But that's

Tiffany Peterson:

taking it back. Of how did I get on this path? Ultimately, it was

Tiffany Peterson:

God very much. It still is, but I always had this teacher

Tiffany Peterson:

desire. I just thought I was going to be in a traditional

Tiffany Peterson:

classroom, and the. That it's morphed and changed is the

Tiffany Peterson:

heartbeat's the same. The classroom has shifted form.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah, yeah. So fast, you know. God has a bigger

Laura Gisborne:

plan for you.

Tiffany Peterson:

Yes, yes, that's so

Laura Gisborne:

exciting. So so good. So one of the things that

Laura Gisborne:

you said you'd like to talk about today, and we were like,

Laura Gisborne:

you know, I'm I'm sitting here looking at my other computer, a

Laura Gisborne:

picture of Zanzibar. Just FYI, the reason I'm bringing that is

Laura Gisborne:

just like it reminds me that we just live in the deep end of the

Laura Gisborne:

ocean in our world, right? It was like we talk about the

Laura Gisborne:

surface things and what's up right now is how do you today

Laura Gisborne:

experience the courage to change, right? Like it's one

Laura Gisborne:

thing I think in my own experience, I think back of

Laura Gisborne:

being my 20s and be like, okay, I'm just going to make this

Laura Gisborne:

decision. I'm going to go for it, and you know, I think at

Laura Gisborne:

that point 40 years ago, I had a different perspective of how

Laura Gisborne:

much time I had to pick myself back up again, right? And now

Laura Gisborne:

it's not even a fear of being moving into my 60s of of I won't

Laura Gisborne:

have the time to pick up, but it's it's an awareness of the

Laura Gisborne:

preciousness of time, right? Of how much, how much each day is a

Laura Gisborne:

gift, and I'm curious about what what does this season of life

Laura Gisborne:

look like for you as you're talking to me about you know

Laura Gisborne:

this next version of your own journey and your own brand and

Laura Gisborne:

your own awareness of how God's called you to serve. What's

Laura Gisborne:

what's on your heart about that?

Tiffany Peterson:

I love this-the courage to change. And

Tiffany Peterson:

any one of you listening, I just invite you to think about. As

Tiffany Peterson:

Laura's asking me, what's on your heart? I'm asking each of

Tiffany Peterson:

you listening the same thing: is what's on your hearts, loves?

Tiffany Peterson:

Like, what are you feeling called to do? What do you want

Tiffany Peterson:

to see changed in your life, and whether it's a to you feels big

Tiffany Peterson:

and massive or small and simple or somewhere in between, but

Tiffany Peterson:

it's thinking about what do you want and where are you feeling

Tiffany Peterson:

called to, and what you feel, you know, this draw. Like

Tiffany Peterson:

there's this energy. I love Florence Shinn as an author. I

Tiffany Peterson:

love she was popular in the late 1930s. She has a really

Tiffany Peterson:

well-known book called *The Game of Life and How to Play It* and

Tiffany Peterson:

she talks about following the hunch. We have hunches, nudges,

Tiffany Peterson:

promptings, impressions, spirit, intuition.

Laura Gisborne:

We

Tiffany Peterson:

give it lots of titles, but you all have this

Tiffany Peterson:

gift. And if you just catch your breath for a moment while you're

Tiffany Peterson:

listening to this show, and I'm so proud of you for turning into

Tiffany Peterson:

Laura's show, and whether again you're on a walk right now, or

Tiffany Peterson:

you're listening to this, or driving, but it's like just

Tiffany Peterson:

tuning in your own antenna. It's like, what do I want more of?

Tiffany Peterson:

What am I drawn to? And some of you have instant knowing because

Tiffany Peterson:

you've known it for a while. Some of you need to take a

Tiffany Peterson:

moment to pause and reflect because life's just been moving

Tiffany Peterson:

so fast. But the courage to change, because most times in

Tiffany Peterson:

the work that we both do in coaching, people hire me for

Tiffany Peterson:

change. They say, "I want to grow my sales. I want to grow my

Tiffany Peterson:

business. I want to be more confident. I want to be happier

Tiffany Peterson:

and more at peace. Great, beautiful. We all often want

Tiffany Peterson:

change, but to change, the process of change is usually not

Tiffany Peterson:

very comfortable. It requires death, loss, release of the

Tiffany Peterson:

familiar, of the old, and many times in life, I found that the

Tiffany Peterson:

harder changes to make is when we're leaving something good for

Tiffany Peterson:

potentially something great, or even not even good to great,

Tiffany Peterson:

right? It's more about more aligned and who are you now and

Tiffany Peterson:

in this season, and it does take courage to change. And so, my

Tiffany Peterson:

own personal self right now, behind the scenes, is we're

Tiffany Peterson:

working on a a lovely, beautiful, scary at times

Tiffany Peterson:

rebrand that includes changing my name, and I've built an

Tiffany Peterson:

entire business. I have two TEDx talks, 1000s of hours, yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

between stages, podcasts, training, teachings, you name

Tiffany Peterson:

it, and I'm changing my name. And there feels like, ooh, I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

excited about this. So when you find this show, whatever time,

Tiffany Peterson:

you likely will still be able to find me under Tiffany Peterson,

Tiffany Peterson:

but it also might be under. But you also might need to find me

Tiffany Peterson:

under the name Tiffany Love, which is the name that we're

Tiffany Peterson:

moving to. Which was a spiritual experience I had many years ago,

Tiffany Peterson:

and finally I'm acting on it. We're talking about seven years

Tiffany Peterson:

I've been wandering in the desert about this. There's a

Tiffany Peterson:

lesson in that. The Lord gave me a very clear revelation seven

Tiffany Peterson:

years ago. I was exploring adopting a child. I never had

Tiffany Peterson:

children of my own. Always wanted them. Didn't have them. I

Tiffany Peterson:

did not end up adopting a child because that was not a full yes.

Tiffany Peterson:

But in the process of exploring that, I had this very clear

Tiffany Peterson:

revelation about if I was going to adopt a child, I didn't want

Tiffany Peterson:

to raise it in the name Peterson because that's my formerly

Tiffany Peterson:

married name.

Laura Gisborne:

Interesting. Okay,

Tiffany Peterson:

and I asked.

Laura Gisborne:

Yes.

Tiffany Peterson:

So, long story short, is that I was given this

Tiffany Peterson:

very clear revelation about the name Love. It's who I am. It's

Tiffany Peterson:

who you are. It's who we. All are God is love, and it just has

Tiffany Peterson:

had such a resonance. But I haven't had the courage to

Tiffany Peterson:

change it because I'm real comfortable. Tiffany Peterson's

Tiffany Peterson:

an established name brand, lots of hours, lots of success. But

Tiffany Peterson:

you know, like sometimes, Lara, when you're dragging around

Tiffany Peterson:

something old that doesn't fit anymore, it's like when you're

Tiffany Peterson:

wearing those pants that are a little too tight, you know, or

Tiffany Peterson:

the energy. For me, it's been more of an energy where it's

Tiffany Peterson:

like, yeah, this is not in alignment anymore.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

and the courage to change. And when we

Tiffany Peterson:

caught up, you know, two months ago, I was so impressed. We

Tiffany Peterson:

talked about all the different places you've moved and lived,

Tiffany Peterson:

and what they all had a lesson for you, and that took courage

Tiffany Peterson:

to leave in a known environment. Takes courage to leave a job or

Tiffany Peterson:

complete a relationship. It takes courage to like, hey, I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

going to lean in to do this new thing. It does take courage to

Tiffany Peterson:

change. It really does. But I also want to balance that out.

Tiffany Peterson:

Love is because sometimes we think, oh, there's so much

Tiffany Peterson:

energy to change something, and some of us it's like, oh, I need

Tiffany Peterson:

to really commit to my health and wellness and fitness path,

Tiffany Peterson:

or to launch this business. I'm ready to leave my corporate job.

Tiffany Peterson:

I'm ready to get me out of here. But it also we're like, oh, the

Tiffany Peterson:

courage to change. We often think there's a lot of energy

Tiffany Peterson:

for that. That's true, but there's also a lot of energy

Tiffany Peterson:

you're doing right now just to maintain and to dole out. You

Tiffany Peterson:

know when you know something's time, its time has come.

Laura Gisborne:

We feel it,

Tiffany Peterson:

but we quiet it, we numb it. We oh well, I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

going to wait till it's perfect timing. I'm going to wait till

Tiffany Peterson:

I'm perfectly confident. I'm going to wait until I have no

Tiffany Peterson:

fear ever, and then I'll go do the thing, and that's just

Tiffany Peterson:

faulty. Is I love this reminder that ready is not a feeling,

Tiffany Peterson:

ready is a decision. And I isn't that good? It's not mine. I

Tiffany Peterson:

found it somewhere on the internet. I don't know whose it

Tiffany Peterson:

is, but ready is not a feeling; it's a decision.

Laura Gisborne:

Excellent.

Tiffany Peterson:

And so sometimes, and while I'm not

Tiffany Peterson:

saying just take massive leaps and you know like quit your job

Tiffany Peterson:

today, although unless it's the right time, just do it, go for

Tiffany Peterson:

it. But I am saying that we have again, all of you have an inner

Tiffany Peterson:

home that houses your spirit or your intuition, your knowing.

Tiffany Peterson:

Again, call them a hunch, call them a prompting, an impression.

Tiffany Peterson:

We have knowing, especially women, we are gifted with this.

Tiffany Peterson:

Your little creation machines, men have the same gift in just

Tiffany Peterson:

different ways. But it's like you have the access to the

Tiffany Peterson:

creator. You're a creator yourself. But I'm just

Tiffany Peterson:

normalizing. It does take courage to change. But let me

Tiffany Peterson:

also balance out. It also takes energy. So the energy you're

Tiffany Peterson:

thinking about, oh, all that energy to change, you're also

Tiffany Peterson:

doing a certain amount of energy just to maintain status quo, and

Tiffany Peterson:

that's heavy energy, my friends. Maintaining status quo heavy.

Tiffany Peterson:

Show me what you're showing me.

Laura Gisborne:

This says embrace change. Much love,

Laura Gisborne:

Laura. This is a leaf from our vineyard when we used to have

Laura Gisborne:

our vineyard in Arizona.

Tiffany Peterson:

Oh yes!

Laura Gisborne:

And one of my dear, dear partners and friends,

Laura Gisborne:

Andrea Byrd, who worked with us for 10 years, she and I pulled

Laura Gisborne:

these leaves and we decoupage them, and I keep this here. And

Laura Gisborne:

what I what I didn't see until today is the wisdom of Tiffany

Laura Gisborne:

Love, is that this leaf is not struggling. This leaf is passing

Laura Gisborne:

through a season, right? There's a gentleness in choosing to fall

Laura Gisborne:

and then be reborn, and all the goodness of the seasons. And and

Laura Gisborne:

I, until we had a vineyard, I didn't realize that they went

Laura Gisborne:

through, you know, all the color change. It's gorgeous. It's so

Laura Gisborne:

gorgeous. All the purples and the reds. What I want to

Laura Gisborne:

acknowledge and put a pin in for myself to remember here today is

Laura Gisborne:

that it takes a lot of energy to stay in the thing that is no

Laura Gisborne:

longer congruent as well. And if you allow yourself, I mean, you

Laura Gisborne:

and I talked before about my prayer to lead a led life,

Laura Gisborne:

right? I pray to be shown, and I've learned to pray to be

Laura Gisborne:

obedient to the invitation, which is not was not natural for

Laura Gisborne:

me. I'd like to be like, okay, show me, and I'm going to do it,

Laura Gisborne:

and I'd like to take full responsibility for all the good

Laura Gisborne:

things and no responsibility for the bad things. You know, as a

Laura Gisborne:

younger person, I was was pretty foolish and arrogant often, and

Laura Gisborne:

as a more mature person, I'm hoping in this season of life to

Laura Gisborne:

have a little more grace and gratitude, right for for this of

Laura Gisborne:

the unfolding of things, right, and letting that happen. But it

Laura Gisborne:

it requires us to step up. You know, literally just wrote this

Laura Gisborne:

in something that I did for for a post for a class that we're

Laura Gisborne:

teaching. It's just, you know, I believe that God gives us this

Laura Gisborne:

opportunity, and then it's up to us to decide to either say yes

Laura Gisborne:

and receive, or take the step to meet it. And it's always when we

Laura Gisborne:

don't know what's going to happen or how it's going to

Laura Gisborne:

happen, and that's what faith is. We call that walking in

Laura Gisborne:

faith, right? So I think about the courage, right? The courage

Laura Gisborne:

that. Yeah, thank

Tiffany Peterson:

you for reminding me of that. When we

Tiffany Peterson:

spoke two months or so ago, I had written that down, and it

Tiffany Peterson:

was so on my heart. And just that prayer of living a led

Tiffany Peterson:

life, and thank you for modeling that for us. And again, if if

Tiffany Peterson:

for me that is partly well, how do we muster our courage? How do

Tiffany Peterson:

we change? You know, part of for me is anchoring into my roots,

Tiffany Peterson:

which is faith and belief and relationship with spirit, and

Tiffany Peterson:

also knowing that change can happen one day at a time. You

Tiffany Peterson:

know, one hour at a time. Sometimes it feels so big and

Tiffany Peterson:

overwhelming. It's like when you decide to move and you're like,

Tiffany Peterson:

"We've got to pack up this whole house. And it's like, "Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

let's start with the bathroom. No, let's start with the laundry

Tiffany Peterson:

room. Start with this versus like you know, taking those

Tiffany Peterson:

smaller steps of just living in the day that you're in, but

Tiffany Peterson:

choosing to honor. I have come to learn, and still learning,

Tiffany Peterson:

how we learn to honor ourselves is such an important part of the

Tiffany Peterson:

journey. We honor what our hearts are asking for, because

Tiffany Peterson:

again, there there is an energy that's heavy that requires us to

Tiffany Peterson:

maintain where we're at and maintain the status quo versus

Tiffany Peterson:

trusting that, knowing that intuition. So thanks for letting

Tiffany Peterson:

us start there because when I think about you know as you

Tiffany Peterson:

asked me before we click record, what's so on your heart, and I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

like I want to talk about the courage to change because I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

living it right now. It's really real for me in this moment, and

Tiffany Peterson:

while there's lots of topics between the two of us, I mean,

Tiffany Peterson:

we could be here for seven hours.

Laura Gisborne:

Exactly,

Tiffany Peterson:

it's like that's what's on the heart. And

Tiffany Peterson:

again, like I'm asking you to all do, which is trust your

Tiffany Peterson:

heart, trust your knowing. That's on my heart, and trusting

Tiffany Peterson:

what's on my heart.

Laura Gisborne:

Can I just tell you that one of the things that

Laura Gisborne:

I've been so excited about having this conversation with

Laura Gisborne:

you is how you be in the world. Tiffany is so generous. I

Laura Gisborne:

interviewed somebody earlier today for the show, and this

Laura Gisborne:

person shall remain nameless. But I immediately said to my

Laura Gisborne:

team, "Don't publish that. It needs a lot of help. And we

Laura Gisborne:

knew, and this is again not to diss this person, but the

Laura Gisborne:

conversation was all about her. And what I love about you, which

Laura Gisborne:

is what I wanted to point out, is that I knew that how you be

Laura Gisborne:

in the world, because we've known each other for more than a

Laura Gisborne:

decade now. How you be,

Tiffany Peterson:

I know a woman is is

Laura Gisborne:

how you be in the world, right? So I knew

Laura Gisborne:

having this conversation. I didn't know exactly how you do

Laura Gisborne:

it, but I just watched you do it, and I've watched other

Laura Gisborne:

interviews of yours all over the place. You know the generosity

Laura Gisborne:

of spirit that you bring, and how you keep turning your own

Laura Gisborne:

learnings into an opportunity to serve. And you know, just gives

Laura Gisborne:

me goosebumps thinking about that. Really walking your talk,

Laura Gisborne:

and in the the vision that I've had, you know, for the last

Laura Gisborne:

decade plus with Limitless Women is a love letter for the women

Laura Gisborne:

who saw me when I could not see myself as a young person. And I

Laura Gisborne:

think about now that I'm moving into the the elder season, and

Laura Gisborne:

I'm and I'm here kind of lifting up the next generation of

Laura Gisborne:

leaders. I think about who do I want to surround myself with,

Laura Gisborne:

and it's people like yourself who have the congruence, who

Laura Gisborne:

have the integrity. You know, it's it's quiet often, which is

Laura Gisborne:

really you know that still water runs deep idea. And I think

Laura Gisborne:

about something that you said about business. And when I was

Laura Gisborne:

listening to another one of your interviews, someone was

Laura Gisborne:

interviewing you. I love the sales conversation. I'm so I'm

Laura Gisborne:

super fan. Like sales with ease. Let's have more conversations

Laura Gisborne:

about sale. And there's more to business than that. So when you

Laura Gisborne:

said like you got into business and you had this skill set and

Laura Gisborne:

you had this knowing about sales, there's a whole lot of

Laura Gisborne:

other things that go on with being a business owner and being

Laura Gisborne:

a leader. What I heard you say in an interview was just about

Laura Gisborne:

the power of your relationships and how you honor people and how

Laura Gisborne:

you communicate with people. That's so much more than a sales

Laura Gisborne:

process. It's who you be in the world. So you talk a little bit

Laura Gisborne:

about the power of relationships in your own life and what that

Laura Gisborne:

looks like as a business leader and then as a woman and as a

Laura Gisborne:

leader in your own life,

Tiffany Peterson:

I love this conversation, and I mean, think

Tiffany Peterson:

about the fact we're having this conversation is a testament to

Tiffany Peterson:

what you just said-the power of relationships.

Laura Gisborne:

So great is

Tiffany Peterson:

we've had a relationship, you and I, and

Tiffany Peterson:

even though we hadn't, there'd been years we hadn't interacted,

Tiffany Peterson:

we pick right back up, and there's a connection there and a

Tiffany Peterson:

warmth that's there because there is a connection and all of

Tiffany Peterson:

you. I have a keynote that's titled "Your currency is in your

Tiffany Peterson:

connections, right? Or you can also flip it. Your connections

Tiffany Peterson:

are your currency, and so in business, no matter what you

Tiffany Peterson:

sell, every one of you are in the people business. Whether you

Tiffany Peterson:

sell furniture and you're an interior designer, right?

Tiffany Peterson:

Whether you sell health and wellness products, whether

Tiffany Peterson:

you're a fellow coach like Laura and I, you're an author, you're

Tiffany Peterson:

selling ideas, you're selling change and transformation. You

Tiffany Peterson:

know, it's like whatever it may be, we're all in the people

Tiffany Peterson:

business, and that relationships. My friend Randy

Tiffany Peterson:

Garin calls it relationship capital. Is that you nourish

Tiffany Peterson:

your relationships? I call it nourishing your network, but

Tiffany Peterson:

that you show up with the intention to say, "I am going to

Tiffany Peterson:

be a giver. I'm going to add value. You're going to be a VC,

Tiffany Peterson:

right? Not necessarily venture capitalists, although it could

Tiffany Peterson:

be that for sure too. But a VC was like, 'I'm a value creator,

Tiffany Peterson:

and you're the kind of person that chooses this. Now, what I

Tiffany Peterson:

love about this, Lara, is we live in a world that has all

Tiffany Peterson:

kinds of personality tests and assessments. We have

Tiffany Peterson:

astrological charts. We have human design. You have Myers

Tiffany Peterson:

Briggs and disc profiles, and I find all those things very

Tiffany Peterson:

interesting.

Laura Gisborne:

Me too.

Tiffany Peterson:

And what I'm just sharing with you isn't a

Tiffany Peterson:

personality type; it's a principle based, which is I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

going to choose to be a value creator. I'm going to honor

Tiffany Peterson:

relationships. So whether you're extroverted, introverted,

Tiffany Peterson:

perfect. You don't need a personality type to succeed in

Tiffany Peterson:

business and to succeed in sales. It's you need principles

Tiffany Peterson:

and the principle of I'm going to be a giver and I'm going to

Tiffany Peterson:

take care of people. And as you've heard me say before: when

Tiffany Peterson:

you take care of people, people take care of your business.

Laura Gisborne:

Okay,

Tiffany Peterson:

right? And so it's just true. It's like, hey,

Tiffany Peterson:

I want to show up and add value. Can I tell you a recent thing

Tiffany Peterson:

that's on my mind?

Laura Gisborne:

Please do.

Tiffany Peterson:

There's a gal in my network that we've known

Tiffany Peterson:

each other probably three, four years. We met speaking at an

Tiffany Peterson:

event years back, and and she's just a zesty, vibrant woman, and

Tiffany Peterson:

she hosts different kinds of retreats to help you grow your

Tiffany Peterson:

your your speaking business specifically. And she is just

Tiffany Peterson:

she's crushing it as a speaker. She's great. Well, she invited

Tiffany Peterson:

me to attend her very exclusive weekend mastermind intensive as

Tiffany Peterson:

her guest,

Laura Gisborne:

nice,

Tiffany Peterson:

and that was a huge. I mean, people are flying

Tiffany Peterson:

in from all over. She has a wait list. Happened to be because I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

in the same town that it was like, hey, this opened up. Would

Tiffany Peterson:

love for you to come. Would love your energy there, and her

Tiffany Peterson:

generosity to me. And again, we had this connection, this

Tiffany Peterson:

relationship. I've now helped her enroll several people for

Tiffany Peterson:

her upcoming events as just a form of a. I think it's a great

Tiffany Peterson:

fit for the clients and these friends and connections. It's

Tiffany Peterson:

just the power of relationship where she showed up generous

Tiffany Peterson:

with me. That generosity has currently made her quite a bit

Tiffany Peterson:

of money, and I just love like sometimes you can see it the way

Tiffany Peterson:

sometimes you can't but we can go as far as deep as you want on

Tiffany Peterson:

this like well what are some of the tips and the practices and

Tiffany Peterson:

the things like this but just knowing like the mindset is like

Tiffany Peterson:

you say who do you want to be in relationship what do you want to

Tiffany Peterson:

be known for in business and it's like so when Laura says hey

Tiffany Peterson:

you want to be on the podcast? Hot dang! I sure do. Let me tell

Tiffany Peterson:

me the time. We'll figure it out. We'll get there, 100%

Tiffany Peterson:

because it's you, and we have a connection. And my experience of

Tiffany Peterson:

you is always kind, generous, sharp, smart, and she's

Tiffany Peterson:

stunning. I mean, that's like she's just a beautiful,

Tiffany Peterson:

beautiful, stunning woman, but that's the packaging because her

Tiffany Peterson:

light on the inside is so bright too. You know, it's just great.

Tiffany Peterson:

So, yeah, I think all of you listening, it's like, how do I

Tiffany Peterson:

want to show up in relationship? How do I nourish my

Tiffany Peterson:

relationships? Do I have any kind of plan or system to that?

Tiffany Peterson:

Because when we hear this kind of advice, we all go. Yeah, I

Tiffany Peterson:

should be better at writing handwritten notes. I should

Tiffany Peterson:

reach out more and set up lunch or coffee dates. I should send

Tiffany Peterson:

the texts. I should appreciate more. I should help other people

Tiffany Peterson:

get connected more and be a connector. But it's like, oh

Tiffany Peterson:

yeah, they hear it, but the living

Laura Gisborne:

it. Yeah. Well, and you said something earlier

Laura Gisborne:

that just kind of I want to pull this back in here is the idea of

Laura Gisborne:

self-love, right? What does it look like to nurture and nourish

Laura Gisborne:

ourselves first? And it's non-negotiable in my experience

Laura Gisborne:

as a leader. To you know, my childhood was what it was. I

Laura Gisborne:

went through what I went through that had me be where I am today,

Laura Gisborne:

and I can say that people see me today on the other side, looking

Laura Gisborne:

really good and really put together, right? And there was

Laura Gisborne:

so much pain, and what I what I grew up with was the message

Laura Gisborne:

that I was not wanted, that if I hadn't been born, my mother's

Laura Gisborne:

life would have been completely different, and the the shame of

Laura Gisborne:

that, right? And carrying that, and I think about how many

Laura Gisborne:

people quietly carry shame, and how many people quietly carry

Laura Gisborne:

pain and messaging from their youth, and how do they get

Laura Gisborne:

through that? Right? You know, again, for the grace of God,

Laura Gisborne:

that God put angels in front of me who said, "Hey, girlfriend,

Laura Gisborne:

it doesn't have to be this way. Right? There's there's other

Laura Gisborne:

possibilities. He handed me books, and and I was a good

Laura Gisborne:

student, and I was hungry. I was hungry and thirsty for lack of

Laura Gisborne:

attention, right? And there was that part of the journey, but

Laura Gisborne:

then there was the journey of learning the power of taking

Laura Gisborne:

care of myself, so that I could give from the overflow, and not

Laura Gisborne:

in a not in like a just a. Way, but like in the true

Laura Gisborne:

manifestation of what it takes to lead leaders and to lead my

Laura Gisborne:

own life in a way that I I hope is a good stewardship of the

Laura Gisborne:

gifts that God has given me. You know, talk to us a little bit

Laura Gisborne:

about your own journey with self love, because again, the time

Laura Gisborne:

that I've known you, you've been like the total package, no.

Laura Gisborne:

There's always something that

Tiffany Peterson:

happens. Oh yeah. Oh honey, that's an

Tiffany Peterson:

illusion. P.S. Everyone, right? Like we're talking forever.

Laura Gisborne:

How did you discover the power of you know

Laura Gisborne:

the magnificence? You know, there's one of a kind, each of

Laura Gisborne:

us. How did you discover that?

Tiffany Peterson:

I love you so much. Can I just say that? Like,

Tiffany Peterson:

and I love we're having just some real talk. This one topic

Tiffany Peterson:

too. We could be here for quite some time, but

Laura Gisborne:

days and days.

Tiffany Peterson:

I want you all to write something for me in

Tiffany Peterson:

your notes because I use the word value quite a bit, talking

Tiffany Peterson:

about adding value to others in relationship, and I want you to

Tiffany Peterson:

put like maybe the word value in large letters, and then above

Tiffany Peterson:

it, I want you to write own your value, and then underneath it, I

Tiffany Peterson:

want you to write add value, and that it's this. It's not either

Tiffany Peterson:

or. It's yes and. It's the yin and the yang. It's like having a

Tiffany Peterson:

deeper, healthier relationship with you. Yes, and having a

Tiffany Peterson:

deeper relationship with community contribution service

Tiffany Peterson:

that will bring you so much beauty and healing, as you know.

Tiffany Peterson:

But they they are interchangeable, and let me just

say this:

when it comes to self love and the self worth work,

say this:

there's absolutely, I think, levels of "quote unquote"

say this:

healing that we can do, but it is an ongoing relationship, and

say this:

the rents due every damn day. Sorry, friends, the rents due.

say this:

Can't get out of it, and

Laura Gisborne:

you're laughing, as you

Tiffany Peterson:

know,

Laura Gisborne:

it is kind of so. Yes, and it's

Tiffany Peterson:

yes, and that's just the illusion of like

Tiffany Peterson:

you have it all perfectly put together. Oh, it's an illusion

Tiffany Peterson:

for every one of us. Everyone you have on a pedestal on social

Tiffany Peterson:

media, if they're honest, they would say similar things. No, it

Tiffany Peterson:

doesn't mean that every day is a hot mess. Express it doesn't

Tiffany Peterson:

mean that every day we're in the doldrums of the depression or

Tiffany Peterson:

the challenges, but we need these are muscles that we have

Tiffany Peterson:

to use or we lose them. The rents do every day, and so

Tiffany Peterson:

that's also helped me with my process because my a younger

Tiffany Peterson:

version of myself rewind the clock say 10 years is working

Tiffany Peterson:

with this beautiful Buddhist life spiritual coach, God had

Tiffany Peterson:

propped into my life, and he was this beautiful human. And I was

Tiffany Peterson:

like, "Is this a yes? And it was such a yes. And we were working

Tiffany Peterson:

together. And I remember Laura listened to this. I I had hired

Tiffany Peterson:

this gentleman, and it was quite pricey,

Laura Gisborne:

all

Tiffany Peterson:

over the phone. He lived in Santa

Tiffany Peterson:

Barbara. I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah. And this is August, and we

Tiffany Peterson:

started working together probably like late january 1 of

Tiffany Peterson:

February. So for several months, and I just thought, you know,

Tiffany Peterson:

and I'd done workshops and things, but I'm going to hire

Tiffany Peterson:

this like man who is like the in my mind the you know he's

Tiffany Peterson:

embodying all of this energy. And at the time, I was getting

Tiffany Peterson:

on a session with him again, probably six months after us

Tiffany Peterson:

working together, and I'd been feeling a lot of anxiety. And I

Tiffany Peterson:

got on that call with him, and I was hot. And I don't mean hot in

Tiffany Peterson:

a good way. I mean hot, pissed off.

Laura Gisborne:

I was ticked,

Tiffany Peterson:

angry because I'm like, why am I still having

Tiffany Peterson:

anxiety? I know there's nothing to fear. I I've done all this

Tiffany Peterson:

work, my faith and trust, and I've checked all these boxes,

Tiffany Peterson:

but I'm still feeling anxious. And in his light, lovely Indian

Tiffany Peterson:

accent, he kind of giggled, and he was just so lovely. And he

Tiffany Peterson:

just said, "Tiffany, we practice love over fear. And part of me

Tiffany Peterson:

didn't love that, you know. Like I want to check the box and be

Tiffany Peterson:

done with that.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like I want to pray. I

Laura Gisborne:

want to pray for guidance, but I necessarily want to pray for

Laura Gisborne:

obedience. Right,

Tiffany Peterson:

right. But then it was like also so

Tiffany Peterson:

liberating that we practice self love, we practice self worth, we

Tiffany Peterson:

practice love over fear. I still at times deal with anxieties.

Tiffany Peterson:

Anxiety shows up for me. I sometimes still deal with

Tiffany Peterson:

insecurity. Sometimes, Laura, I feel like my eighth grade self,

Tiffany Peterson:

and I have a photo of my eighth grade self in a lot of in one of

Tiffany Peterson:

my keynote decks when I feel prompted to share it. And I have

Tiffany Peterson:

this permed curly red hair, these huge bangs. Like I date

Tiffany Peterson:

myself for sure. There's going to be for sure. I'm wearing a

Tiffany Peterson:

pair of guest jeans and have a caboodle. You know, like

Tiffany Peterson:

sponsored by Aquanet. Everyone, you have to be a certain age to

Tiffany Peterson:

get these references, right? Right.

Tiffany Peterson:

But it's like sometimes you know my eighth grade self who was

Tiffany Peterson:

highly insecure. Where do I fit in? I'm not wanted. I so

Tiffany Peterson:

understand the wound of not feeling wanted, girl, sister to

Tiffany Peterson:

sister. I. Feel you, and I think a lot of you know that it's like

Tiffany Peterson:

oh, and it's like ah, and and how do I look and how do I sound

Tiffany Peterson:

and everything was about that ongoing insecurity. And there's

Tiffany Peterson:

times now as a grown woman, I still feel like my eighth grade

Tiffany Peterson:

self. I share this to normalize, right? Because we're in the

Tiffany Peterson:

practice of healthier self love, self worth. I've moved that

Tiffany Peterson:

needle quite a bit. Is it perfect? No. Is the rent still

Tiffany Peterson:

due every day? Yep,

Laura Gisborne:

that's good.

Tiffany Peterson:

And so doing those things like I do, you

Tiffany Peterson:

know, okay, I start my day with intention. Some people call that

Tiffany Peterson:

power hour, morning ritual, whatnot. But it's like starting

Tiffany Peterson:

my day with God with reading and prayer. Ideally, I start my day

Tiffany Peterson:

with a workout, right? Some days it comes later in the day, a

Tiffany Peterson:

nice walk, things that I read, things that I listen. I'm a big

Tiffany Peterson:

fan of gratitude journaling, you know. Also, these classic things

Tiffany Peterson:

in the personal growth world, but but the foundation, may I

Tiffany Peterson:

say this, because those are all things we can do, and you've

Tiffany Peterson:

heard, and some of you are doing them religiously, and you're

Tiffany Peterson:

like, and there's still this really deep hole on the inside.

Tiffany Peterson:

At some deep, deep level, you must choose yourself, and we

Tiffany Peterson:

wait our whole lives, especially as women, to wait to be chosen.

Tiffany Peterson:

We have 1,000,008 fairy tales around being chosen, and I love

Tiffany Peterson:

that fairy tale, and I love the feeling of feeling chosen. I

Tiffany Peterson:

love when my sweetheart, the way he shows up and says and does

Tiffany Peterson:

certain things, but foundationally, I must always

Tiffany Peterson:

choose myself, and like, and not just like okay, fine, but some

Tiffany Peterson:

of us are hanging out with ourselves with kind of an energy

Tiffany Peterson:

like I guess I'll tolerate you, versus I love you, I choose you,

Tiffany Peterson:

I'm never gonna leave you. Like some of this work, like I've got

Tiffany Peterson:

you, I want you, like the wanted wound. I choose you, I like you.

Tiffany Peterson:

Who am I? And like letting yourself even one of the gifts I

Tiffany Peterson:

think of some timing and age is like, ooh, I get to explore all

Tiffany Peterson:

these different things. Like, who do I want to be and choose

Tiffany Peterson:

to be, and what are some interests and hobbies? But

Tiffany Peterson:

foundationally, it's like I'm going to choose me, and I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

going to show up for me. There's quite a bit of healing that

Tiffany Peterson:

happens when there's a legitimate choice that's

Tiffany Peterson:

happened, like a legit, like oh, I've moved into ceremony. I even

Tiffany Peterson:

after I got divorced, I'm married now. But my when I was

Tiffany Peterson:

married before, and then I was single a long time. I got to you

Tiffany Peterson:

know was in the process of getting divorced, and I took

Tiffany Peterson:

myself on a little date down to Tiffany's. I was like warmed up

Laura Gisborne:

Tiffany's. Yes,

Tiffany Peterson:

warmed up my American Express, right? Like

Tiffany Peterson:

we're gonna use this baby, make it hot, get it hot. It's gonna

Tiffany Peterson:

get used. And I bought myself this beautiful little band that

Tiffany Peterson:

I wear on my right hand. I know some of you are just listening

Tiffany Peterson:

to this, and some of you can see this, but this tiny little band

Tiffany Peterson:

of pave diamonds. This is my covenant ring with myself. Like

Tiffany Peterson:

I wear it on my right hand regularly. I don't take it off.

Tiffany Peterson:

I sleep in it, shower in it. Occasionally, I'll take it off.

Tiffany Peterson:

You know, of course, to clean it. But the reality of like I'm

Tiffany Peterson:

in relationship. I'm in vow with myself first, and I still even

Tiffany Peterson:

when I even after buying the ring, it's like that was a cool

Tiffany Peterson:

moment, and I still have to practice the inner work

Tiffany Peterson:

regularly. Yeah,

Laura Gisborne:

I I think it feels like I I often experience

Laura Gisborne:

this as the good news and the bad news, right? Like the the

Laura Gisborne:

bad news, if there is a bad news, is that the that inner

Laura Gisborne:

voice doesn't always go away, right? That it's still there, it

Laura Gisborne:

still can pop up at times, but the good news is it doesn't have

Laura Gisborne:

to drive us. And I love the the covenant you have with yourself,

Laura Gisborne:

right? And having a ring to actually remind yourself of your

Laura Gisborne:

relationship and your commitment to yourself. I love that. I

Laura Gisborne:

didn't know that about you, and I love that you're. So if

Tiffany Peterson:

you want to go buy yourself a ring, you have

Tiffany Peterson:

full commission. We'll go like. like, "Hey, sweetheart, I have

Tiffany Peterson:

to go do an assignment. My coach gave me an assignment. Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

maybe for you it's a necklace, but it's it was just you know we

Tiffany Peterson:

have jewelry and we have artwork and things that are anchors. But

Tiffany Peterson:

I'm so glad you asked that because I think it is easy to

Tiffany Peterson:

look at someone's social media, their website, their speakers

Tiffany Peterson:

reel, and it feels really like wow, they're so put together.

Tiffany Peterson:

And while lots of times I am, I'm in my confidence, I'm in the

Tiffany Peterson:

zone, as are you. There's also plenty of times that I'm not, or

Tiffany Peterson:

that the blues have shown up, or the anxieties, or the

Tiffany Peterson:

insecurities, or the self doubt, and I'm getting to practice my

Tiffany Peterson:

tools once again. We practice. So when that coach of mine, his

Tiffany Peterson:

name's Dawa, said that to me, we practice love versus fear. It

Tiffany Peterson:

was quite liberating, and it also it's just like you know I

Tiffany Peterson:

went to a Pilates class this morning. I love it. But it's

Tiffany Peterson:

like just like you get back on the reformer, you get on the mat

Tiffany Peterson:

in yoga. We practice, and it's the same thing with self worth

Tiffany Peterson:

and self love. Is that it's not like, well, I'm there, check the

Tiffany Peterson:

box. It's that's a muscle I'm going to continue to invest in.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah, and and think about the value of what's

Laura Gisborne:

worthy again of your time and your attention. If we think

Laura Gisborne:

about the body as the vehicle carrying our essence, I believe,

Laura Gisborne:

in my own experience, it deserves to be nurtured and and

Laura Gisborne:

regarded with gratitude. Right? I mean, because without that,

Laura Gisborne:

we're not here. So it's not we're not here in the way that

Laura Gisborne:

we understand being here, right? So this is like the simple thing

of:

Does the body want movement? And if so, let's do that. If the

of:

body wants fuel, what kind of fuel do we want to nourish it

of:

with? What do we want to give it to show it that we love? I'm

of:

drinking my little vitamin water over here. Like, what do we want

of:

to give it to show it that we love it? And instead of all the

of:

the punitive conversations, and I was severely anorexic as a

of:

young woman. So, just using the the conversation in my head

of:

around healthy eating and healthy living, what's really

of:

been a paradigm shift for me is nourishing my body in the way

of:

that I would nourish a loved one. Right, the way I would take

of:

care of someone that I care for. What would I feed that person?

of:

What would I give that person? As opposed to like the punitive,

of:

you can't have this, you can't have that, right? And if we give

of:

ourselves enough of the the goodness, the body is so strong

of:

and resilient. It's really magical. It's just designed.

of:

It's one of God's greatest gifts, I think, to us is to have

of:

a body that is self healing, right, is pretty miraculous in

of:

the whole way that it wants to grow and it wants to heal

of:

itself. They were reading something about like the robots,

of:

and then one of the challenges with the robots. Sorry for the

of:

brain fart, but it's going to come up. Was one of the

of:

challenges about the robots is they can't figure out how to

of:

create self healing skin yet, right? One different one of the

of:

differentiators. They can get the robot to do all kinds of

of:

cool stuff, but they can't figure out how to make the skin

of:

heal itself. Now, by the time this comes out, who knows what

of:

will cover? But I think about the miracle of self-healing

of:

skin. Like, what's that all about? That's great, right? So

of:

good. So more nourishing, more loving ourselves, more honoring

of:

that it's not up to someone else. I love that, right? We're

of:

not waiting to be chosen. We can choose. Yeah, really beautiful,

of:

Tiffany.

Tiffany Peterson:

Well, I think it's really liberating too. And

Tiffany Peterson:

and as someone who is like just traveled that path very

Tiffany Peterson:

intimately, it's like, oh man, I feel you. I get you. And here's

Tiffany Peterson:

how we start to create and shift that: is you get to choose.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

yeah,

Laura Gisborne:

yeah. So good. So good. So good. Lastly, I

Laura Gisborne:

heard you say in another interview something about your

Laura Gisborne:

keys for success, and I'm wondering how that feels for you

Laura Gisborne:

today. If you're starting it today while we're having this

Laura Gisborne:

conversation in 2026, what are you aware of that have really

Laura Gisborne:

been the pieces that you say, like, "Hey, this was the thing,

Laura Gisborne:

or "This was a couple of things, or "This is the this is what I'm

Laura Gisborne:

aware of every day that I honor and commit to again and again

Laura Gisborne:

because the rents do every day. I think that's what my

Laura Gisborne:

girlfriend told me. Yeah. What does that look like in your own

Laura Gisborne:

life? You say like, what had this success really be clear for

Laura Gisborne:

you?

Tiffany Peterson:

I think that you know. Again, we could have

Tiffany Peterson:

lots of things, but if I was to pick, say, three key things that

Tiffany Peterson:

are really relevant right now, I'd say first and foremost is

Tiffany Peterson:

like we were talking about is is your commitment to your own self

Tiffany Peterson:

and those practices, those habits that invite well being.

Tiffany Peterson:

They invite energy, like you were saying. There's certain

Tiffany Peterson:

things that we choose that give energy, and there's certain

Tiffany Peterson:

things we choose that take energy. And so it's being in

Tiffany Peterson:

discernment of that, of making some of those as choices and

Tiffany Peterson:

decisions, those habits. Also, say you know, foundationally

Tiffany Peterson:

alongside of that is my relationship with God and my own

Tiffany Peterson:

relationship spiritually. And again, however you connect to

Tiffany Peterson:

that, whether it's you know for some of you Bible study or for

Tiffany Peterson:

some of you, that means going to yoga, or perhaps it's you know

Tiffany Peterson:

doing service, and there's all kinds of ways we presence to

Tiffany Peterson:

that relationship. But I think the heartbeat of that, right, is

Tiffany Peterson:

like your own inner compass and your own worth aligned with your

Tiffany Peterson:

higher power. Of like that work is so good, and then secondly,

Tiffany Peterson:

like we were touching on, is I think the relationships, and I

Tiffany Peterson:

think one of the gifts of getting a little bit older, so

Tiffany Peterson:

to speak, or that we have a little more awareness, is really

Tiffany Peterson:

being intentional there too, and choosing that is that

Tiffany Peterson:

relationships that nourish you and that multiply you and

Tiffany Peterson:

magnify you. And that you really can make choices in your life of

Tiffany Peterson:

who you spend time with, and just because someone's been in

Tiffany Peterson:

your life for a long time, right? Like, may they may or may

Tiffany Peterson:

not still need to sit in first class in your life. They might

Tiffany Peterson:

need a new seat assignment sometimes, right? But the the

Tiffany Peterson:

power of having great relationships in your life, and

Tiffany Peterson:

you don't need a million of them, but to invest in them, to

Tiffany Peterson:

show up for them, and also allow them allow them to show up for

Tiffany Peterson:

you too,

Laura Gisborne:

right? Huge, but

Tiffany Peterson:

having relationship, right, and things

Tiffany Peterson:

like that. And then finally, I'd say the third thing is that you

Tiffany Peterson:

have some form of way of contribution, service, impact.

Tiffany Peterson:

Is that you know all the success in the world and beautiful

Tiffany Peterson:

handbags and don't get me wrong I love them okay I love a good

Tiffany Peterson:

handbag

Laura Gisborne:

yeah

Tiffany Peterson:

but what really lights you up and what

Tiffany Peterson:

really gives your life purpose and just richness is being part

Tiffany Peterson:

of something and that's why again I'm so drawn to what

Tiffany Peterson:

you're doing with Limitless woman and like the work that you

Tiffany Peterson:

do and the giving back and and finding the ways that you want

Tiffany Peterson:

to. It might be joining and linking arms with Laura and

Tiffany Peterson:

really being part of that. It might be your local food bank or

Tiffany Peterson:

your you know boys and girls club or you find a way to mentor

Tiffany Peterson:

or maybe volunteering at the animal shelter. There's lots of

Tiffany Peterson:

ways to do it, but contribution service is really the secret

Tiffany Peterson:

sweet sauce of life. It really is. I think in our my earlier

Tiffany Peterson:

career, nothing wrong. I still always had this vibe of wanting

Tiffany Peterson:

service and contribution.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

but my earlier self was much more driven, you

Tiffany Peterson:

know, by money and accolades and things.

Laura Gisborne:

We probably had to receive. I mean, you had to.

Laura Gisborne:

All of us as young humans have to reach a certain level of

Laura Gisborne:

sufficiency, right? We're in we're in the evolution of our

Laura Gisborne:

our psychology of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. You know,

Laura Gisborne:

just we we have to figure it out, and then it may be. I I

Laura Gisborne:

know in my own experience, I was doing the work of work building

Laura Gisborne:

businesses and building life, and then I would be

Laura Gisborne:

volunteering, you know, on nights and weekends. It was kind

Laura Gisborne:

of a side; it was a side hustle, not kind of. It was just my side

Laura Gisborne:

hustle, right? And so when I started being asked to lead and

Laura Gisborne:

speak, and it was not anything I ever thought I would be capable

Laura Gisborne:

of doing, let alone embrace doing, I prayed to be shown. How

Laura Gisborne:

do I stop having you know one foot over here on Saturday and

Laura Gisborne:

another foot over here on Monday. How do I bring these two

Laura Gisborne:

things together? Which is really how the model of limitless women

Laura Gisborne:

came together because it didn't. I couldn't see it, and I could

Laura Gisborne:

find good role. I could find great role models in the for

Laura Gisborne:

benefit nonprofit world, and I could find amazing role models

Laura Gisborne:

in the private sector world. But I couldn't find a place where

Laura Gisborne:

women were coming together in our natural way, right? The way

Laura Gisborne:

that we tend to be frank, way that we get to give, you know.

Laura Gisborne:

And I see this. I'm so reminded when I get out of technology and

Laura Gisborne:

I get into real spaces with women in person. How natural it

Laura Gisborne:

is for us, right? How much we really we're designed. We're

Laura Gisborne:

designed to give, and we have to receive. So I love that you said

Laura Gisborne:

that, right? I mean, without receiving, giving doesn't

Laura Gisborne:

happen. Giving can try to happen, but it needs a receiver.

Laura Gisborne:

So the receiving as a form of giving is such an act of

Laura Gisborne:

generosity. My friend Starladden said that to me years ago.

Laura Gisborne:

Receiving is a form of giving, and I just my brain was like,

Laura Gisborne:

"What?

Tiffany Peterson:

It's so true,

Laura Gisborne:

but it really is receiving is an act of

Laura Gisborne:

generosity. So I love that you brought that up as part of the

Laura Gisborne:

success principle, right? I mean, it really you need to yeah

Laura Gisborne:

that come to you.

Tiffany Peterson:

Yeah, and there again, there's lots of

Tiffany Peterson:

ways to do it, and I think sometimes we might think, well,

Tiffany Peterson:

once I make a gazillion dollars, then I will give back, or once I

Tiffany Peterson:

do this, then I'll and it's like no, find the way now. Whether

Tiffany Peterson:

you can donate $20 now or two hours of your time a month

Tiffany Peterson:

somewhere, if you want a rich life, a wealthy life in all the

Tiffany Peterson:

ways of what that word means, it will have absolutely

Tiffany Peterson:

contribution and impact and some form of of giving back. And you

Tiffany Peterson:

know this because you're living it, but just to verbalize that

Tiffany Peterson:

and how potent it is for us is like, yeah, show up for

Tiffany Peterson:

yourself, right? Show up in relationships. Show up with

Tiffany Peterson:

purpose. There's there's lots of other things we could elaborate

Tiffany Peterson:

to, but I think the foundation is like that's to me what you're

Tiffany Peterson:

creating a successful life.

Laura Gisborne:

Yeah,

Tiffany Peterson:

yeah, feel

Laura Gisborne:

good.

Tiffany Peterson:

Yeah,

Laura Gisborne:

all right, my love. It has been such a

Laura Gisborne:

privilege and an honor to interview you. Is there anything

Laura Gisborne:

else you'd like to share? If you were to go back in time, is

Laura Gisborne:

there anything you wish you knew then that you know now that you

Laura Gisborne:

want to pay forward? You've given us so much wisdom here. So

Laura Gisborne:

I'm like, and what else you got? What else you got, Tiffany? I

Laura Gisborne:

love you, and I'm just or am I at launch? Here we go. Let's go.

Laura Gisborne:

But but I but I do want to know if there's any. You know, I just

Laura Gisborne:

want to make sure you're complete, my darling. That you

Laura Gisborne:

well, I

Tiffany Peterson:

what comes up for me as you ask that is

Tiffany Peterson:

intuition, which is in essence how we started.

Laura Gisborne:

Yes, ma'am. And my

Tiffany Peterson:

own intuition is I love the reminder of the

Tiffany Peterson:

power of. And I just invite you, listening, is asking yourself

Tiffany Peterson:

through your own best life coach. You just need to tune in

Tiffany Peterson:

and ask yourself, what decisions do I need to make? Excellent.

Tiffany Peterson:

What changes, choices, things I need to release, let go, or

Tiffany Peterson:

begin or continue? Like become an the active driver in your

Tiffany Peterson:

life, the active architect of your life and saying, "Okay,

Tiffany Peterson:

let's take a pause and let's look at where am I? Am I in

Tiffany Peterson:

alignment with where I want to be, where I want to go? What

Tiffany Peterson:

decisions do I need to make? Right? Is the the power of that?

Tiffany Peterson:

I one of my favorite quotes of all time, and there's a lot of

Tiffany Peterson:

them, but one of my favorite of all time is a gentleman named

Tiffany Peterson:

Foster Hubbard, where he says, "Doing isn't difficult; deciding

Tiffany Peterson:

is. Doing isn't difficult, deciding is. So making some

Tiffany Peterson:

decisions, whether it's in your health and wellness, it's in

Tiffany Peterson:

your business, it's in your heart, your home, relationships,

Tiffany Peterson:

and choosing again to decide, choose, and honor where that

Tiffany Peterson:

might take you

Laura Gisborne:

so beautiful, darling. Yeah, appreciate you. I

Laura Gisborne:

love you. Love you, big. Really grateful. Really, really type.

Laura Gisborne:

Thank you

Tiffany Peterson:

for having me.

Laura Gisborne:

All right, and before we go, where can we find

Laura Gisborne:

you? Give us a couple of things before my computer's going to

Laura Gisborne:

die. We're going to run out of bags. What? Yes. And we'll put

Laura Gisborne:

all this in writing, obviously. But I want them to be able to

Laura Gisborne:

hear it, in case somebody's traveling, I want them to know

Laura Gisborne:

how to connect with you, Tiffany Love. Where will we find you?

Tiffany Peterson:

You can find me@tiffanyspeaks.com is my main

Tiffany Peterson:

website. Several free downloads and gifts for you there to help

Tiffany Peterson:

support you in your growth or sales journey. And then,

Tiffany Peterson:

secondly, you can find me on Instagram at Tiff Peterson, or

Tiffany Peterson:

maybe by the time this goes live, it will be Tiffany Love.

Tiffany Peterson:

Yes. Yes, we'll see. You'll be able to find me though. So those

Tiffany Peterson:

are some great places to connect.

Laura Gisborne:

We'll keep ourselves updated on you, and we

Laura Gisborne:

so appreciate you, Darla.

Tiffany Peterson:

Thank you.
