Welcome to Stress Busters for Wildly Busy Humans. Are you ready to release your stress and to reclaim who you are beyond your life roles and start enjoying life again? Do you feel you don't have time for meditative stress release because it takes too long or requires pretzel-like body positions. If so, you're in the right place. I'm your host, Vivianne Winters Israel. I worked almost 50 years as a registered nurse across several critical care specialties and as a first responder. I'm a mom, cancer thriver, award-winning author, international speaker, and entrepreneur. I'm also a
Vivianne:vintage gal with decades of experience wrestling stress and moving through life crises (plural) financial, emotional, physical, and medical. I eventually discover the power of what I now refer to as true self-care tools, which transformed how I manage stress, and also allowed me to move through life crises with more ease, even in those first raw moments of a crisis. Since my original self-care discovery, I've explored many self-care tools over the last 20 years, and can tell you there are short form meditative practices that are powerful and fit into the schedules of wildly busy humans.
Vivianne:This show exists as a result of two unexpected discoveries. First, working to uncover what teachers would appreciate in the resource guides I'd create for my upcoming Abby Hart series of children's novels, and discovered teachers needed much more help than resource guides, and they needed it now. Well, I had some great resources, so started to raise awareness of powerful short-form meditative practices, and created an online experience programs to help teachers develop a self-care practice using my own short method that could be done anywhere and fit into their wild schedules. Then I was
Vivianne:asked, "What about those of us who aren't teachers and have crazy demanding schedules? So I'm finishing development of the two-minute stress buster for wildly busy humans and this podcast to further raise awareness of powerful short-form meditative methods. If you're a wildly busy human trying to keep your head above water for yourself or your family and have a life, this show's for you. Episodes will contain honest interviews, before and after stories, experts, tips, and encouragement. However, the persistent collective challenges of the last few years have affected your life. There is a not
Vivianne:so hidden cost many of us missed considering. As we strive to do all that needs to be done regarding our job or business, around our home, for our family, for others important to us. We gloss over, rationalize, or straight up don't even consider taking care of ourselves. You may feel self-care is selfish, and/or feel you need permission. It's time to prioritize your own well-being. True self-care is not selfish. It is the foundation for taking the best possible care of your loved ones, children, students, patients, partners, and others, as well as improving your everyday life
Vivianne:experience cumulatively. Because of my own multiple experiences of crises, both without and with true self-care practices, I'm of the belief that no one should have to go through a life crisis or period of unceasing stress, without at least one true self-care tool, you deserve this.
