[00:00:00] Almost 99.9% of the time, people's subconscious minds are running the show through their old experiences. Our past could steal from us every single day. The pattern will still be there if we don't become self-accountable. Shamina Taylor is an attorney turned wealth expert and host of The Unapologetically Rich Show. She's helped more than 50 women become millionaires and hundreds more hit their highest cash months by combining identity expansion and premium business strategy.
[00:00:28] I had everything they tell you success is supposed to look like, and yet I felt so unfulfilled and empty. Something has to change. When I started healing the victim and scarcity mindset, that's when wealth consciousness and my new relationship with abundance came in. You talk a lot about wealth consciousness, healing financial trauma. What do they mean in day-to-day life? There's different patterns that people are operating on. When I look at somebody before we delve into a relationship with money,
[00:00:53] I look at their relationship with self, then I can find a core wound and then we can get to the root of their real relationship with money. How do I understand what my core wound is? The biggest indicator is... Hey, Shamina. It's so good to have you here. Thank you for having me. That intro was amazing. I feel like I'm on some kind of primetime show. I'm like, yes, hello, I'm here. Thank you. That intro was amazing. Just want to say that.
[00:01:23] Well, I think you're amazing. And I love talking to you before we started it. And there's so many different facets of you, of your journey. And I especially love how open you are to just explaining, hey, this is what happened to me. And if it can help somebody else, then let me share it to the millions out there that need it.
[00:01:47] So today I want to start with asking you, everyone has a moment in time, that relaunch that changed the trajectory of your life. And I've heard yours and I would love for you to share with our audience what happened and how did it change everything? Well, I believe everybody's had a moment where they've had the, oh shit, we can't go back to the way it was before.
[00:02:13] And my moment happened in January, 2013. And it was actually on a yoga mat. And who knew that doing yoga could crack your whole life open and leave you trying to reassess what's going on. But that's what happened to me. I had just finished a bodybuilding competition. I was really big into fitness and I still am. I still work out, but I don't compete anymore. And walked into this room, a girlfriend of mine was running the class. She was a yogi. I had a couple of them in there.
[00:02:38] And she was getting some B-roll to be on TV. And so when I walked in, I wanted to be on TV. I wanted my 15 minutes of fame to go in there. I was like, this is amazing. I had done about three yoga classes at this point. Far from a professional. Get in there though, wearing my cute... You're into bodybuilding, which means you're into lifting the heavy weights. Is there a lot of stretching in bodybuilding? Not really, no. And so...
[00:03:05] So you're now on camera, on camera doing yoga. Yeah, third time. And if you understand anybody who lifts weights and they go do yoga, yoga will feel like you are lifting the heaviest weight of your life because it's so difficult. So it was really, really, really, really challenging for me. We start this class off, but before we do that, I go up to the cameraman and I say, hey, don't pan on me too much because I didn't know what I was doing. But really I was trying to tell him is like, don't forget to miss me because I'm amazing
[00:03:33] and I should be the star of this whole B-roll is basically what I was saying. Anyway, that's where I was all those years ago. Bless me. And we get in there 15 minutes into the class. I'd put my phone beside me because that's what you do in yoga. And I walked in there saying I was going to win yoga that day. I was going to beat everybody's ass in yoga and win. So that was my mindset going in there ready to do it. And as we started, it was like 15 minutes in my girlfriend. I felt like she was showing off because we'd done about like, I don't know, 50 dog downs at this point. And I was,
[00:04:03] I'll never forget this. When is she going to stop? Like she doesn't need to have a showing off in this class. Like just slow down, let the guy get his B-roll. But again, the competitive side of me came in. I was going to do whatever it took because that's how I was. I was always prepared for a challenge and a win. And as we were doing this, I kept thinking, oh my gosh, this class is lasting forever. She goes, okay, now I want you to put one leg one way and put another leg the other way.
[00:04:27] And my legs, you asked me earlier if I stretched, did not go that way. I grabbed onto the little quirky box, you know, the one that they give you, held on for dear life. And I basically pressed myself into like, pushed myself, you know, forced it into this position. And as I was like trembling and pushing myself to get into this position, my whole body was just like, you know, shaking. And as it was shaking, I just started feeling this like immense pain come over me. It was,
[00:04:54] it was so incredible, like to the point where I didn't know what to do at that moment. Did I keep pushing? And of course I keep pushing because that's what I was wired to do. And as I was pushing, I started crying and I couldn't, I didn't know where the tears were coming from. And I just started bawling. And before I knew it, I heard her talking, saying, are you happy with your life? The things that yogis say. And, and as she's talking and I'm thinking, I don't know who Shamina is anymore. I was having this super powerful moment that was happening right now, real time. And as I started crying,
[00:05:24] I started emotionally crying and I just let the dam break open. Cause I don't remember the last time I cried. I would just had the most ugliest cry on this mat. And I was saying to myself, I don't remember who the fuck Shamina is. Like I had everything they tell you success is supposed to look like. And yet in that moment, I felt so unfulfilled and empty. I spent the next 45 minutes sobbing, bawling, having my own mental breakdown, emotional breakdown on this B roll. Remember the
[00:05:52] cameras were rolling and people thought I was laughing at first, but then eventually they saw that I was crying and they came in one by one. I could feel everybody rubbing my back. And I was still in this pose while they were leaving. And I lifted my head up and snot was everywhere. And I was like, Oh, something has to change. And as I left there a month later, I went and talked to my husband and a month later. Um, you know, I, we made some really hard decisions about him moving out.
[00:06:20] I ended up going on a really, really deep find of who I was. I realized that my life at that point, it was, I don't want to say it was a full facade, but it really was something that I was just going through the motions. I wasn't actually present. And. Okay. So hold on. You, you ran through this. Let's, let's take a step back for a second. So at this point, before you're going into the yoga
[00:06:43] class, you are practicing law. Is that right? You're married, you got two kids and from the outside, everything looked pretty good. Pretty perfect. But before you look perfect, but before you went in, was there any sign before this great collapse? Oh yeah. Okay. I want to talk about
[00:07:08] that. Cause I think there's listeners out there that we wait for the big bang. We wait for the great collapse. We wait until that, Oh, the, you know, the dam totally breaks, but there are signs that are leading up to this and, and share with us, what were the signs that were happening? I mean, aside from just being in a full survival state, you know, just shutting down, numbing myself, shopping was my thing,
[00:07:35] going out with my friends, you know, not being totally present in my life. My kids were four and five at the time. My son came home from preschool and he had a drawing and I was like going through this drawing of that he made and inside there was a stick figure there. And I was like, what's happening here? What's the stick figure? It was laying sideways. I see. He's like, I said, who is that? He goes, that's mommy laying on the couch. I was like, okay, that hit me like a ton of bricks. And I, things started adding up as I was going through looking back. I, you know,
[00:08:03] when you were in a numb state and you were trying to be in an environment that, you know, you need to be removed from, or something has to change, you go into survival state. And that's what I was. I was exhausted. I was working out a lot. Um, I wasn't being present in my life. My daughter had her third birthday party and all I could think about what's next. Not like, let me get through this birthday party. You know, I was setting everything up. I'm like, okay, well then what have you to do tomorrow? What have you to do tomorrow? So I was constantly
[00:08:30] like an A type, but not being somebody in control freak and not being somebody who is living her life. I was just going through to check off boxes throughout my life. And that's how I was operating. And when it came down to things fulfilling me and feeling like satiated, nothing ever did. So I was doing triathlons, bodybuilding, you know, pushing myself in different ways. Cause that's what we do when we don't work on ourselves internally. So there was all these other things that I was trying to do.
[00:08:57] And, you know, working out was one of my things that I look back on the heaviness of what I was doing was I was trying to regulate my nervous system somehow, you know, somehow I was trying to bring my body back into a piece of calm, but most of the time I was trying to live outside of my body. And, you know, my marriage did have issues. You know, there was, even though it looked perfect on the outside, we were B, we became roommates, you know, the way he chewed carrot pissed me off. Like I really wanted to like, I can't even hear so many carrots anymore because it got to the point,
[00:09:27] it wasn't even the carrots. It was just that when you're living in eggshells, walking on eggshells, and you're not being truthful or honest about where your life is, it, it just becomes like, you're, you're kind of what's happening around me. Like, why am I here? And, and nothing made me feel happy long. It was very temporary, you know, where I was at. And I mean, there were so many signs, if you want to say, I mean, I could go on and on about it, but it was like, those are some big ones.
[00:09:55] I have to go back to that, that there are signs. It's what are we paying attention to? What are we noticing? And I love that, you know, it's not about the carrots and I'll never forget when my, I was still married to my first husband. He had been gone for almost two weeks on the road. And I had
[00:10:19] youngest daughter, we're playing in the living room. And I remember I was making spaghetti sauce and he comes in and it was quiet. Like there was just quiet peace. He comes in, he does something where all of a sudden, you know, the kids are screaming and everything was clean and orderly. And then there, it's a disaster. And I was just like, and I remember he comes up to me and I'm stirring the spaghetti. And all I do is just give him the cheek. I don't turn around. I'm not like,
[00:10:47] hey, I haven't seen you in two weeks. And you blame outside things, right? And you say, oh, it was this and it was that and he was gone. And then finally, I just realized, you know what, like you said, it's not about the carrots. It's not about all the things that you could label it to be. It was about me. It was me. Yeah. And for me, I had a level of anger that looking back on it, I was not somebody who was in touch with her emotions. I was an ice queen.
[00:11:16] I was not loving. I was not somebody who was, you know, expressing my emotions, if that makes sense. So, cause when you're in survival, you can't, you don't tap in. I had an armor on me from unhealed trauma in my life that was there for decades from childhood. And so I carried that with me. And, you know, and when we got to this point where he moved out, it was like, I finally could breathe, even though it was the worst day of my life at the time, I finally could breathe. And then I went on this deep spiritual journey. I'm like something,
[00:11:44] instead of going to find another person, which most people do, I'm like something in me has to be worked on because how did I stay in this marriage so long without addressing what was going on? And so I went into like a very deep, deep self-development healing journey for like three and a half years. I was celibate. I call it my monk mode. This is where I was like denouncing my wealth. I was like, I don't want fancy things anymore. I got, you know, crystals to wear around
[00:12:11] my wrist. I started, you know, I was a lawyer. And then all of a sudden I was like, I was seeing signs for 11, 11, or I'm like, maybe I'm an empath. I was having this whole like life, you know, midlife crisis they say. Right. And I was, I was like, this, something's got to go on. I went to a therapist, but then I ended up going to a healer and I realized I had trauma had to work through. So that's what I did. I went through a process of working through this trauma. And as I did, I realized I was not a woman who was mastered emotionally. I grew up in a very toxic family. I had no emotional
[00:12:39] intelligence really to speak of. Although I had three degrees, I was a lawyer. I was very, very successful when it came to, you know, things on paper. And that's where I started learning about consciousness and really understanding like how we interact with each other. Our, our past could steal from us every single day. If we don't work on it, it doesn't matter the person you change the situation, the pattern will still be there. If we don't become self-accountable, it was very much in a victim mindset for years. And that's when I realized when I started healing the victim
[00:13:07] and lack and scarcity mindset and rewiring the old stories, that's when wealth consciousness and money and my new relationship with abundance came in. And I saw a direct correlation of, you know, look how much wealth is here available for all of us. But if we come from a very lack and scarcity mindset, we, you know, it's not around. And so that's when I merged the two in my world. And then I saw massive changes happening and I'm like, wait, I'm really onto something here. I'm onto-
[00:13:33] Okay, but hold on. But hold on. So people are really, you know, able to understand. You talk a lot about this wealth consciousness. You talk about healing financial trauma. And for someone hearing those types of phrases for the first time, what do they actually mean in day-to-day life? So- How does it relate? I'll give an example. I have a methodology called the power pattern. And so there's different
[00:13:59] patterns that people are operating on. There could be somewhere where they've got an armor, their pushing pattern, like an armor pattern, pushing pattern, people-pleasing pattern. They've got, I'm not good enough. I have, there's three core wounds that I talk about, unworthiness, betrayal, and abandonment. And those things are underneath your pattern behavior. So if you're a control freak, somebody who controls a lot, the pattern underneath there is like, people betrayed
[00:14:25] me. You know, I've got to make sure that I can control everything so I don't get taken advantage of again. You know, when someone feels unworthy, which that was my core wound, my top one, I had all of them. I would go for success. So people who are double-degreed, they have lots of degrees. My validation was the on the outside of me. Look at all the things I've done. You could give me love now. Can you, can you, can you recognize me now? Can you say that I'm amazing now? I have,
[00:14:50] I've done all these things. So underneath that was unworthiness, but it was like me constantly showing up, doing, doing, doing, doing. That was one of my patterns. So when I look at somebody, when I, before we delve into real relationship with money or anything else, I look at their relationship with self because you were the blueprint for your life and business. So I look at to see which one is predominant. Are you somebody who's people-pleasing? Are you a type? Are you someone who's doing all the time? Are you in your masculine? Like what are the patterns underneath? Cause it's
[00:15:19] all down to protection and safety. I'm going to, I'm going to protect myself. So you don't hurt me first. I'm going to protect myself. So you don't leave me first. I'm going to make sure that I feel worthy enough. So the world doesn't tell me I'm when worthy and you leave me, you know, that kind of thing. And so when I can pinpoint the pattern of behavior underneath it, and I put them through my process, then I can find a core wound and then we can get to the root of their real relationship with money. And that's kind of how I tie it all together. I can look at someone's bank account and I can see,
[00:15:46] is it up and down? Do they, you know, are they, are they having large amounts come in and then it goes like money leaks happen? You know, do they have a big cash month and the next month they dip or do they keep hitting the same ceiling over and over again? I'll find a pattern and then I'll get to the core wound. We break it. And this is why women within about 56 days, we've seen two weeks, eight months, they have their highest cash months with us because we've broken through a ceiling that
[00:16:12] they've had or a pattern that they've been living subconsciously out of survival or from a place of safety that they didn't realize. And it's remarkable because just because you do something one way doesn't mean it's the most efficient or beneficial way to you. It's just because you might be doing it out of habit, right? And that's what most of us have been doing for survival. So when you talk about core wound and you say unworthy betrayal, was it belonging?
[00:16:37] What's the third one? Abandonment. Abandonment. Okay. Abandonment. When you talk about that and you say that that's, you're going to get to your core wound, and then you're going to kind of take that next step to remove them, release them. What are you doing with your clients? Like help us understand because we all have heard a lot of the words around this and that, Hey, you too can have success,
[00:17:04] but bring it home to the sense of like, what does this really mean for those listening on how they can take one step towards like, all right, how do I understand what my core wound is so that I can actually start to take a process and what would that process be? So for me, the biggest, the biggest indicator, and obviously we only have so many minutes together, but I have a process and tools that people do, but this is one thing that you can take away. And it's actually in my book. I know you're probably going to mention it later on, but it's called Unlocking the Quantum Woman.
[00:17:33] And if there's a chapter in there and we talk about triggers, triggers are going to be our best, best, you know, um, uh, GPS where they are. So when you can see, so I always feel like that I was the type of woman who was a hothead, so I'd get triggered a lot. So this is where I had to like remove things and just figure out like, why did that bother me so much? Cause it's never the incident. That's really the thing that we, we should be concentrating on. Like someone might've pissed you off, but you shouldn't have got that mad. But if you can start carrying a trigger journal with you,
[00:18:02] which I explain how to do in the book, carry trigger journal and just start jotting down what things actually pissed me off this week. What really got me so to the point that I've got this mad or where I felt like something was unfair, or I felt like somebody was going to leave, or I felt like I was being taken advantage of or whatever it is, start, start writing them down and keeping track of them. If you do this for 30 days, I'm telling you, you're going to find the patterns. If you're open and aware, if you don't want to be, cause sometimes people are not self
[00:18:30] accountable and they self abandon themselves and they just let the triggers run their lives. But if you can sit there and watch, you know what, when people are late, I get really pissed off. Like I get so triggered by this. Or if I'm going to a restaurant and they don't come within five minutes and give me my water or ask me my order, it pisses me off. If somebody really cuts me off all the time, or they don't go at the green light, like you're going to start seeing what really is
[00:18:57] underneath that. And that, because without awareness, nothing can get changed. And I can tell you almost 99, 9% of the time people's subconscious minds are running the show through their old patterns from their old experiences. And that's why they're living with these triggers. And so when you get to the point, like that person didn't call me back when they say they did, they didn't do what they said they were going to do. They, they didn't keep their word to me. A lot of those things underneath
[00:19:21] is I'm not good enough, or you are not making me feel special, which then makes me feel unworthy. And when I feel unworthy and I feel unspecial, you know, not special enough, then that means I'm not enough. And so we are using other people's behaviors to basically feed into us instead of us feeding into ourselves, which is why I teach a lot about emotional mastery. Because I was somebody that would hand my power over to somebody when I'd got upset and triggered. I'd be like, you did this.
[00:19:49] The victim in me would come out like, how dare you do that? Why did you know that pisses me off? Instead of now when someone does that or does anything, I'm like, oh, that's neat. And I get to decide how I want to respond. That level of emotional intelligence is worth millions for you and your business and how you operate because you come from a very regulated nervous system. But you also come from a place where your neural pathways aren't in fight or flight. You're coming from a place that I now can trust the intuition that I'm having. Because so many women are intuitive, but they don't trust.
[00:20:19] Trust what I'm feeling and thinking. And now I'm going to respond, not react. And that's a simple thing that you can do every single day, even with your children. Like women who start my program, like the lady, she just had $133,000 cash month. And she said, you know what, Shemina, that money was great. But the biggest thing that took away is that my kids, three of them, three, for instance, pissed me off so much, but I was able to sit back. And she goes, one of them included a Sharpie in my white couch. And I was able to sit back and be like, this is,
[00:20:45] I can handle this instead of blowing up and just letting it get to a place where it's not manageable. And we want to have things manageable in our lives, right? Shemina, there's going to be a point, especially at the beginning where there's a lot of things that you're going to recognize trigger you, right? Oh, sure. Yeah. And then it'll throw down though. And then through the 30 days, you start to have your buckets, right? And then are you saying,
[00:21:10] once you get to the biggest bucket, take on that one. And then what do you, what do you recommend? Well, I wouldn't, I don't know if I would take on the biggest one. Like for me, money triggers, money is a big trigger for people because underneath it is safety. Like it's going to leave me like people who have worries with spending money, money going out, usually abandonment's behind it. Like I'm going to be left alone. I'll be, money could be wasted. So that could be somewhere where you're going out to dinner and you see that someone wants to split the
[00:21:37] bill. That could be a really big trigger for you. Or somebody saying they don't want to pay, or I don't know whatever it is, but if you can, those are money triggers, but if you can go and see what it is, you then have to go and assess where's this coming from? Why does this story exist? Why do I feel this way? And most of the times, this is where the challenge comes from, is that they can't pinpoint the emotion that they're feeling. So I would suggest you go look up the emotional wheel online, grab one and start identifying what emotion am I feeling underneath this?
[00:22:06] And then when you can start seeing like anger, we first or sadness or which one, but then underneath that, that's the storytelling. That's going to be like, this is where that emotion will then go back to an old memory or old incident or something where you felt embarrassed, shamed, upset, taking advantage, whatever it is that you have. And then you can start saying that's the root of it. And so when we get to the root of it, then, then you can be like, Oh, this is the lens I've been
[00:22:33] seeing the world through. This is the place that I've been making all my decisions from. This is why I have a ceiling. This is why I'm in resistance. This is why maybe I'm stuck. I'm not at my next level is because of this. And then when you could dilute it and reframe it, it becomes such a different thing. It's no longer has power over you. And so that to me is the most fascinating thing because we have these things right now in our lives that are in full control, telling us what to do. And, um, we just are allowing it instead of us taking over our power and be like,
[00:23:01] no, I, I want to do this. Like a woman in one of my groups bought a G wagon and she was so afraid to show it. She parked it in her garage all the time. I'm like, girl, what, what is happening here? What, what, you know, why are you afraid of this? Well, I'm afraid about my neighbors, my family and everything. I'm like, you better go out there and drive that car because you paid for it. You earned it. But it was like this, this shame around what will people think about me? And so I get to a place with women. I'm like, you don't give a shit what people think about you because you are the one that gets to own what you want to create. And when you stop letting the
[00:23:30] outside world, tell you who to be, think and feel that's when you become the most empowered version of yourself, in my opinion, and unapologetic. Well, this is right in the thinking of giving away, you know, when you start to give away your power, had a conversation with my husband, even this weekend about this, where how do people stay calm when they get angry, they stay calm when
[00:23:54] something doesn't go their way. And the biggest part is that if you choose at that point to give away your power, which is getting angry, which is showing the feelings that are boiling under the surface, it's a, it is like you are saying you have power over me. You get so I motion. So, I mean, I don't want anybody to think you can't like you're entitled to your emotions. Don't direct it at
[00:24:20] somebody because we were raised, I don't know, I'm a Gen Xer. We were raised like big girls don't cry. You're not supposed to be this. Why are you, I'm going to give you something to cry about. So, I wasn't told to feel my emotions. And so, that's why I became Ice Queen. But I feel like you get to be angry. You just don't direct it to the person. You just, and then you get to process it. And you show it right there. Yeah. You kind of, you know, you can cry later. That was it. I say process it, but don't hand it over to that person. And that like,
[00:24:46] some stranger at the store or like that person doesn't deserve that level. Even, even if you're, your husband go process it. Like when my kids were younger and I was going through my divorce, they were four and five and they were screaming their heads off in the back of the car one day. And I was just losing my shit too. You know, cause like, you know, when a kid starts screaming, you want to scream, you have three kids, you know what I'm talking about. And I saw this tree, I was driving down this two lane road. I like, I pulled over to the tree and I'm like, everybody out. And everybody got out and they were little babies, you know, jumping out of this big truck that I had at the time.
[00:25:13] I'm like, you want to scream? I go, you scream at this big tree. And so all three of us, just the top of our lives, screamed our heads off, cried and we were screaming. And then we just, at the end, you know, my kids had red faces and we came back in and we're like, and we're like, okay, want to go for ice cream? And that was the first time that my kids understood that it was okay to feel your emotions. I have raised two emotionally intelligent children that understand that it's okay
[00:25:41] to feel what you feel. It's like when someone tells you don't feel like that, that's gaslighting you. But my kids know that they get to feel. And, you know, just last year, my son sent me a text message. He goes, mom, I go, what? He's like, they're cutting down screaming tree. You know, cause a week later, my son, when he was at age, he goes, mom, I need the tree. And I'm like, all right, baby, no questions asked. We drove up to the tree. He jumped out. But it's like, we weren't taught to process. This is why men are flipping, going crazy out there doing things because they're not taught
[00:26:07] that their emotions matter. And so I'm saying, Hey, ice queen, Hey, a type, Hey woman with the armor, it's time to let it down. Let's feel our emotions. We don't have to be that way. That's your superpower. And when women understand that that's their feminine frequency, that's when they start making millions of dollars and they start receiving. That was a huge, huge, huge shift for me in my life. So there's a point where you give away your power. And there's a point where
[00:26:34] you actually through how you react in that way. How do you start to help somebody go from ice princess to, all right, now we want to have more of that feminine energy coming through. How do you, how do you begin that process? Well, the first things that I, I identify with a woman is this like,
[00:27:00] I want her to be like, there's nothing wrong with you. Like just because you are someone who's not emotional. I want you to give yourself some grace because I know you, why you're not, because there's something that you've been protecting yourself from. You were hurt really badly. That's why you have this armor on you. I know like mostly highly successful women that are double degreed or really, really successful. I'm like, you've been through some shit. I know you have, because this is what's fueling you. The first things though, I would say is start receiving. This is a really hard thing for most
[00:27:27] women at this stage. Even somebody putting their suitcase above at the, on the plane or, Hey, can I grab that bag for you? Or just even receiving a compliment. This is like that. It's really hard for them. I just witnessed my friends, someone was giving compliments about her hair and one by one, she's like, Oh, but it was really, thank you. But it was so humid. Or like, you know, she just couldn't just say, thank you. And that's one thing my kids are so good at. They just say, thank you. End of sentence period. They don't have to justify anything. And what we, we, we are
[00:27:55] type of women. Cause I put myself in this lot still, but I'm reformed now and I still have to catch myself. You know, when someone wants to do something for me, I have to still be like, let them help you. Like they want to pay for the bill, let them, you know? So I, I have to say, thank you. End of story. That's it. Just accept the compliment, right? And talk nicely to yourself. This is another thing. When we're in this stage, we're always the most critical people of ourselves. Look, I got, look at this. I got to lose five pounds. I've got creepy little arms now. Like we're getting to an age where things are starting to go sideways and we're not maybe, you know, looking a certain way,
[00:28:23] love on yourself more than you ever have before. I know it's going to sound crazy, but it's like, we, we're, we're always trying to achieve more and more. So we're looking for the things to fix, but what if you could love yourself so much in a way that it makes you afraid? Like how, how could you love yourself so much? And so start receiving, start receiving and receiving could look like letting your team members delegating more, letting your team members come in, um, assigning
[00:28:48] to them, hiring more people in your house, you know, asking for help when you need help, because being in a place to receive feels so vulnerable for a woman who's like that because she doesn't want to feel like she's needy or that she has to owe somebody something. Like I just rather not have to owe it. I'll just do it myself fast and quick instead of letting somebody come in. But I'm telling you, this is when I started moving from where I was to crossing a million dollars in my business.
[00:29:16] Very, very quickly was learning how to just ask for help and be able to receive. And it's not that easy just to say that there is an emotional reason underneath, which we can't get into all this once, but start with compliments. That's what they say. And it sounds like an easy thing to do. And then start saying, I feel instead of, I think, because when you're in, I think energy, you're in your masculine in your head, but when you're in, I feel you're coming from a place where,
[00:29:43] oh, this feels like this. And so it's like a foreign thing at first. And then another thing that I would say is start celebrating yourself. I know this is the hardest, hardest thing of women having time with that. Hardest thing is celebrating herself. And so I want you to either find a group. That's why I've cultivated groups like this, but find a place or a person. My brother was one of them for me before I had my own groups that I could go to and say, this really big thing
[00:30:12] happened to me. And you know that this person's going to be your biggest cheerleader. It might be your five-year-old, your 10-year-old, whoever it is, your best friend, but you find a safe person that you can go to. It could be chat GBT at this point. I don't care. Like you need to be able to be represented in such a way that you don't skip all the amazing things that you do. And just what's next, what's next, what's next? Because when you celebrate something, it gets replicated.
[00:30:40] So if you can sit in the juiciness and the abundance of all the amazing things that are happening in your life, you should. One of the things we're doing in my millionaire club right now is 30 days of celebration. And I'll tell you, it's wonderful to watch these women celebrating themselves one thing every single day. What if you did that on your own? 30 days of writing down in your journal or in, you can create your own group amongst your girlfriends to have a group chat. Let's celebrate each other. And being a hype woman is one thing, but being able to receive
[00:31:08] the recognition and celebration from another human is a greater distance to walk for many of us. And so, and also plan to celebrate others. Celebrating other women is a really positive as well. And we call them pop the champagne. Like use your pop the champagne moments, pop the period, whatever you want to pop. But it's that idea that no matter what it is, even if it's the smallest thing, it's like this humble
[00:31:35] brag. You have to learn how to do that because that feels more of that. And so you're missing out if you're not acknowledging these small things that are happening in your life, because the small things grow into big things. And the next thing you know, you're hitting, you know, the goals that you've put out there for yourself. So let me ask you, when you mentioned your book, Unlocky Quantum Women, what was the main reason you wrote that? Well, I wrote this book, which has become like,
[00:32:04] it's a bestseller. It really surprised me how much this book, like nine pages in women are messaging me saying, I'm bawling my eyes out. Like it's just one of those books where it'll transform your life. I created this book for the version of myself that probably needed it. The woman before who I was, I also knew I'd stumbled upon something. I'm an avid reader. I don't know if it's because I went to law school, but I was, when I was going through my journey that started back in 2013, I'd read like four or five books a week because I got to a point where I didn't have any money anymore. So books were
[00:32:34] something that I could somewhat afford and I could get the lessons and go through them. And I remember kissing the books and I'm thinking, I've got to get this work out into the world because when women start realizing that they've been living in a pattern, they've been living in this way and they have awareness, their whole entire lives change. That's why I wrote it. I want this book to be every single amount of care. Therapists have read my book and said, we didn't, we weren't taught this. And so it doesn't matter how much therapy you've done or what self development you've
[00:33:01] done. This book will provide you something. So that's what I wanted. I wanted it to give, give back and be something that can be left behind that women would go through or you needed it. And they, and I wanted, and when I wrote it, I was like, I hope she reads it and buys it for her friend. And I'll tell you, I can't, I've lost count. How many women have said, I read your book and I gave it to my girlfriend, my daughter, my sister, and they had, you know, they had book clubs
[00:33:25] and I don't know. I can't talk enough about it. And there's a journal inside of there too. So it's not just a book you read, especially for those of you listening that are audio freaks. Cause I know you're multitasking all the time, get the book and do the journaling prompts inside. You will love it. It'll, you will have a breakthrough and a massive shift going through the book. Okay. So one of the journal prompts that you would say, this is by far, if you're only going to do one
[00:33:50] thing, I call it my processes, you got to tune in. You got to learn how to three HQ your life, head, heart, high, his self. What is that one journal prompt that you're like, this is the one, if you're only going to do one, why am I choosing to stay where I'm at? Hmm. That's a good one. I mean, it's a choice. So right now, what are you relaunching into? What's your next big relaunch? Well, for me personally, um, my business is beautiful thing, but it's like,
[00:34:18] it's my era right now. My kids are off to college. They're amazing. They're there. If you ask me what makes me feel super wealthy, it's my children watching who I've created and poured into. I, uh, spent 13 years not dating anybody. And I mean, I've had dated, but I've never brought anybody home to my children. I said, I've got a short period of time with them. Let me pour into them. And now I feel like it's my turn for love. My turn for, um, the next, next that's going to be
[00:34:45] out there becoming a household names, one of them and getting this work into as many, many millions and millions and millions of women's lives. So my team is working on that at the moment. And then, um, true love, like finding the partner of my dreams. That's, you know, you said earlier before we got on, you know, where you had a relaunched love. I think it's excellent. And I love your stories about how you met your spouse. And I was like, you know, sometimes for a woman like me, who has been pouring into herself and everyone else, it's time for me to have, um, I'm ready.
[00:35:15] I'm ready for him to find me. And I know he will. So that's what I'm relaunching. And honestly, I just went through menopause or I'm going through it. So it was like relaunching the version of me. I don't think we're ever done with that. Right. We're like deep in it. We're deep in it. Just as accepting that this is what my beauty and sexy looks like at 54. And, um, just enjoying that. I have immense wisdom right now. Like I really love the woman I've
[00:35:43] become and just getting to just enjoy her really deeply. That's where I'm at right now.
