Reprogramming the Mind Hypnotherapy with Kristine Ovsepian Manon on The Healers Caf

In this episode of The Healers Café, Manon Bolliger, speaks to Kristine, a clinical hypnotherapist and CEO of Journeys to Heal Inc., and shares her journey from accounting to hypnotherapy. Kristine emphasized the importance of addressing subconscious programming, using techniques like hypnotherapy, breathwork, and NLP to help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom.

Highlights from today's episode include:

Kristine explains that hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious/unconscious (about 88% of our programming) and releasing the root stories, memories, and emotions, rather than just putting a "band-aid" on stress, anxiety, panic, or depression.

Kristine says you must reprogram negative childhood conditioning. Much of the "I'm not good enough / I can't" programming comes from childhood voices (often parents, teachers, bullies). The mind can be reprogrammed, like uninstalling and installing apps: we can replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones through positive suggestions and hypnotherapy.

Manon agrees Don't wait for collapse—honor misalignment early. You highlight that when what we're doing doesn't feel aligned, we can either wait until the body and mind break down (as in Kristine's story) or we can listen earlier, notice that "this isn't right," and start actively exploring what truly brings joy and purpose.

00:00:00
Introduction: Welcome to the Healers Cafe, the #1 for medical

00:00:04
practitioners and holistic healers to have heart to heart

00:00:09
conversations about their day to day lives while sharing their

00:00:13
expertise for improving your health and wellness.

00:00:20
Manon Bolliger: Welcome to the Healers Cafe today. I'm with

00:00:23
Kristine Ovsepian, and she runs an organization called Journeys

00:00:30
to Heal Inc it. She's a clinical hypnotherapist, Coach

00:00:34
specializing in depression, anxiety, panic, blocks of all

00:00:40
types and fears, and she's the CEO of that company, and she's a

00:00:46
Clinical Hypnotherapist with a master's in psychology, blending

00:00:51
science and spirit to support deep healing and transformation.

00:00:57
Now she uses a whole bunch of different tools, like

00:01:01
hypnotherapy, breath work, combo, past life, regression,

00:01:06
quantum healing, NLP, EFT and manifestation coaching to help

00:01:12
others reconnect with their inner wisdom and their divine

00:01:16
power. I think I'll stop with that as an as an intro to you

00:01:22
and well, welcome and thank you for having me. I guess my first

00:01:28
question to you is, what came? First, the desire to to heal,

00:01:37
the intrigue with hypnotherapy, yeah, what was your journey?

00:01:43
Kristine Ovsepian: I actually love that question, because

00:01:44
usually I'm asked to start with, how did I start doing this?

00:01:48
Well, definitely 100% the desire to be of service to others.

00:01:54
Because growing up, I always felt I was drawn to help others.

00:01:59
Even when I was a little girl. I used to do professional cultural

00:02:03
dancing, and the moms would always ask me, what should we

00:02:06
cook? How should we raise our kids? And my mom would always be

00:02:08
like, You do realize you're talking to a four year old,

00:02:11
right? And I had advice for everybody, but, I mean, it just

00:02:14
came so naturally. I just loved children. I loved being

00:02:19
surrounded by others. I loved helping others. So to be honest

00:02:23
with you, hypnotherapy was never even in my energy field. I know

00:02:29
I knew of stage hypnosis because when I was young, my brother was

00:02:33
hypnotized on stage, and he did a lot of fun, amazing things

00:02:37
that we laughed. But as far as therapy, that was never really,

00:02:42
ever a thing in my life, because being born and raised in the

00:02:46
country I was born in, and being Christian, it was like therapy

00:02:50
alone. I think for most of us, it's just, well, there's nothing

00:02:54
wrong with you. What do you need therapy for? At least in my

00:02:57
culture, so hypnotherapy was never even an option or anything

00:03:03
that I knew about until I hit my rock bottom 16 years ago, and I

00:03:07
was like, God, save me. Okay?

00:03:11
Unknown: And all this time, you were living in Armenia, right?

00:03:14
Kristine Ovsepian: So I was 12 when I moved to the States, yes.

00:03:17
And then since, since then, I've been in the States. But until

00:03:21
3132 years old, hypnotherap was not even in my radar. I didn't

00:03:26
even know it existed.

00:03:27
Unknown: Yeah. So what then drew you, or is that just the way

00:03:33
life was that you came across hypnotherapy?

00:03:37
Kristine Ovsepian: So I mean, I was in accounting for a long

00:03:39
time, and it just I spiraled and every year, and my soul just

00:03:45
felt like she was dying inside, because being who I am, I'm such

00:03:51
a people person, and I love interaction with others. I was

00:03:54
behind a computer eight to 10 hours a day, and that was just

00:03:58
not my world. And it kind of started doing its own thing, to

00:04:02
a point where my own mind it's as you know, you realize when

00:04:08
you're not happy, you're upset, you're sad, you can have the

00:04:14
power of your mind really play tricks on you. And so it's my

00:04:17
brain started to playing tricks on me, and my mind just was out

00:04:22
of control. So my body became out of control, and I started

00:04:25
having a lot of physical symptoms of issues in my body,

00:04:30
especially in my gut. As we all know, our second brain is our

00:04:33
gut, and a lot of our emotions, if not all our emotions, are

00:04:37
really in the gut area. So I had a lot of a lot of severe

00:04:41
physical symptoms. I had a nerve damage in my right arm, which

00:04:46
was really psychosomatic symptom, because in my

00:04:51
accounting, I had to do a lot of, you know, computer work and

00:04:55
well, if my hand doesn't work, then I can't do my work, right?

00:04:58
So, yeah. Yes, oh, the things that my brain created to

00:05:04
basically protect me from doing what I so did not like doing. I

00:05:10
didn't even like it. I love it. I didn't even like it, but it

00:05:14
was just a time in my life where I truly felt out of control, and

00:05:21
I knew deep inside I wanted to help people, but God knows, I

00:05:25
tried I tried shelters, I tried animal shelters, I tried

00:05:33
orphanages. I mean, I tried everything. I was like, How can

00:05:37
I at least, if I'm doing the job that I don't like at all, how

00:05:40
can I, on the side, do something that I actually do love, but

00:05:44
every organization I contacted, all they wanted was just money

00:05:48
and donations. And I was like, that's not how I want to be of

00:05:50
service. I want to actually physically be of service. And

00:05:54
from for I don't even know how long I was manifesting without

00:05:58
realizing I'm manifesting because I used to get in my car,

00:06:01
drop off my kids at daycare, go and get in my car, drive to my

00:06:04
accounting job and just cry in the car and be like, God, I want

00:06:07
to do what I love. I want to be of service to humanity and help

00:06:10
people. I want to be, you know, in control of my own, basically,

00:06:16
life time. And I want to be abundant doing what I love.

00:06:20
Those were the four layers. And as you can see, there was

00:06:23
nothing specific about hypnotherapy or any of that. And

00:06:27
honestly, in 2009 my entire world as it felt like it was

00:06:31
collapsing, it actually was being healed. So yeah, that's my

00:06:37
journey in a nutshell.

00:06:40
Manon Bolliger: So really, your your collapse to to doing what

00:06:46
you wanted required. Would you say, in hindsight, that

00:06:53
hypnotherapy was the one of the better choices for you, for the

00:07:00
for the journey you were on, or did you end up doing different

00:07:03
things?

00:07:04
Kristine Ovsepian: Yeah, no, I didn't. Well while, while I was

00:07:07
in accounting, to be honest with you, I was searching. I kept

00:07:10
searching. So I was trying to start and do a candle business

00:07:15
that went nowhere. I became a notary, loan signer that went

00:07:20
nowhere. I What else did I do? I mean, I can't even I can't

00:07:25
remember, but that was a handful of things that I was trying to

00:07:28
do, thinking, Maybe this one will be better, while I was

00:07:30
studying for the CPA exam to become a CPA thinking, that'll

00:07:34
do the trick. But none of them did. And to be honest with you,

00:07:38
again, the hypnotherapy was such a divinely guided path for me

00:07:42
that I went to sleep one night, and I don't know why that night

00:07:46
was specifically special. I couldn't tell you, maybe I

00:07:49
prayed the hardest that night and went to sleep, and I

00:07:53
literally looked to myself and I was wearing a white coat and had

00:07:57
a golden badge, but I knew I was not a doctor, because medical

00:08:00
stuff does not resonate with me whatsoever, but I knew I was

00:08:04
helping people. I think it was just a metaphor. The white coat

00:08:06
that I'm, you know, healing people, but not physically, like

00:08:10
doing stuff. It's energetic healing. And while the golden

00:08:15
badge, when I graduated from hypnotherapy school a year

00:08:18
later, was given to me, and I looked at it, and I was like, oh

00:08:21
my god, I saw this in a dream a year ago. So it was very

00:08:25
divinely guided. And I didn't even get any information in my

00:08:28
dream. I just woke up in the morning and something just in my

00:08:32
mind said, type in, hypnotherapy. So I typed in,

00:08:37
yeah, search, surge, hypnotherapy. And that's where

00:08:41
my world just went right side up. It still wasn't right side

00:08:45
up. It didn't feel like it, but that's where the journey began,

00:08:49
which is why I called my my company journeys to heal,

00:08:52
because it was a journey to heal for me, and it's been a journey

00:08:55
to heal for all my clients over the years.

00:09:00
Unknown: Yeah, that's interesting that there are no

00:09:03
coincidence. Exactly.

00:09:06
Kristine Ovsepian: No coincidence is just perfect

00:09:07
synchronicities, if we just listen, which is why I'm a big

00:09:11
advocate in letting my clients know and help them remember that

00:09:16
we have the answers within us, but everybody's looking for the

00:09:19
answers outside of themselves, which will never do it can be

00:09:24
temporary, but all you can take from outside information is what

00:09:28
resonates with me, and what can I do with that? But our answers

00:09:32
are always within us. We just need to trust ourselves and

00:09:35
listen to our intuition. As many of us always say, I should have

00:09:39
listened to my gut. Where's that coming from? Our gut is our

00:09:43
intuition.

00:09:45
Unknown: Now with hypnotherapy, and then, you know, correct me

00:09:51
or expand whichever way you would make sense. It feels like

00:09:57
through sort of the meditation or the slight. Plants that you

00:10:00
go into that you're tapping into. Some people call it the

00:10:07
subconscious. Some the unconscious. I don't know if you

00:10:11
have a preferred word for it.

00:10:14
Kristine Ovsepian: Both are okay, because that's exactly

00:10:15
what you're doing. You're tapping into your subconscious,

00:10:18
which holds 88 at least percent of your programming of your

00:10:22
brain. And the only reason why people struggle and suffer is

00:10:26
because there's positives and negatives in that part of the

00:10:30
brain holding the information from past to present, and the

00:10:34
negatives if there's too many negatives in their stories from

00:10:37
our childhood experiences, from our childhood as I always remind

00:10:41
my clients that when they come to me, I'm not just giving them,

00:10:45
you know, suggestions to put a band aid over what they're going

00:10:48
through, but to really get to the root of it, because healing

00:10:51
it from the root is the only way that we're going to have

00:10:54
permanent solutions, permanent healing, permanent change.

00:10:59
Unknown: So do you find that the way that you do hypnotherapy,

00:11:04
that the patients or clients do, they bring up what is in their

00:11:12
subconscious and become conscious of it, or that it's

00:11:17
not necessary to bring it to consciousness

00:11:22
Kristine Ovsepian: so it can go both ways. I love that question,

00:11:24
actually, because it can go both ways. So during the coaching

00:11:28
talk, part of the you know experience, I do listen to my

00:11:34
client, and I'm always very present in my session. So I

00:11:39
listen into my client, because all the codes are in there, all

00:11:43
the messaging gets in there. I would just listen to my client

00:11:46
and catch information in there that they don't even realize.

00:11:49
There's a belief that is limiting them or distracting

00:11:52
them or taking their power away. And I would write it down. And

00:11:56
usually what I write down is not even so much what the problem

00:11:59
is, but what is the solution? So I'm very solution based. So

00:12:03
while I listen to my clients, you know, negative experience, I

00:12:07
immediately put this like, What suggestion am I going to give

00:12:10
them to shift that? So if it's you know, how to unblock them,

00:12:14
how to help them release that story memory. And oftentimes,

00:12:19
during that cognitive part, my clients would remember stories

00:12:23
and be like, Oh, wait, remember, I remember this, and I remember

00:12:26
that. And oftentimes, also in hypnosis, they'll come out and

00:12:29
say, Oh my God, when we're in hypnosis, I want to when I was

00:12:32
five years old, and this and that happened with me. So it can

00:12:35
happen at any time, but it's not a necessary component, because

00:12:40
really, what we're doing is raising raising the vibration,

00:12:43
raising the frequency. It's not so much about, oh, I have to

00:12:47
remember every bad thing that happened to me for me to heal.

00:12:50
No, it's known and unknown, like your subconscious knows how to

00:12:54
get rid of negative information, negative energy, negative

00:12:58
stories, negative experiences, and really turn them into a

00:13:02
positive so the moment that we realized, as I oftentimes say,

00:13:06
the stress, anxiety, panic, depression, these are just

00:13:09
symptoms of what stories are basically blocking me,

00:13:14
controlling me, what am I reliving in the back of my head

00:13:21
that I'm not even realizing, whose voice is in my head.

00:13:24
There's a lot of the that judgment that we have of the

00:13:27
self, and it's I oftentimes ask my client, I go, close your eyes

00:13:31
and tell me the first person that comes up of like the

00:13:34
judgment that is in your head. And you know, reality, it's,

00:13:38
it's usually a parent that shows up, fortunately and

00:13:44
unfortunately. It's not that far. You know what I mean? We

00:13:47
don't have to go digging, but sometimes my clients would

00:13:50
remember a teacher or a classmate or a bully or, you

00:13:53
know, it can be anywhere that information, but once we

00:13:58
basically tap in, what we're doing is through positive

00:14:03
suggestions, affirmations and information. We are because the

00:14:07
mind. We are naturally, just innately positive beings. We're

00:14:11
Divine Beings of positivity, love, joy, happiness. That is

00:14:15
our nature. It's kind of like, I always would describe it, like a

00:14:18
helium balloon. A helium balloon just wants to be light and float

00:14:22
right, and then we basically pull it back and tie it to

00:14:26
something heavy, but it's still floating. To imagine that thing

00:14:31
that is the heaviness is our stories, our memories, our

00:14:34
experiences, but the moment you cut that emotional core, that

00:14:37
connection, what happens to the helium balloon? It just

00:14:40
naturally, like floats up. That's our energy. That's our

00:14:44
frequency, like the heaviness that we feel in our lives.

00:14:46
Oftentimes, it's not physical, it's emotional.

00:14:49
Commercial Break: What would your life be like if you were

00:14:51
pain free? If you were one of the millions who suffer from

00:14:55
chronic pain? The thought of just one day without it may

00:14:59
seem. Possible. This is often because conventional medicine

00:15:03
tends to fall short in the treatment of pain, opting to

00:15:07
prescribe pills or recommend surgery rather than getting to

00:15:10
the root cause of the problem. But if you are suffering with

00:15:13
emotional or physical pain, there is hope. Join the founder

00:15:59
Kristine Ovsepian: It's energies of information that are trapped

00:16:02
in our energy field, and we're constantly carrying that

00:16:05
baggage, that burden, that weight. And the moment we do

00:16:09
hypnosis with I would generously just say, I don't want to say

00:16:14
100% 99.9% of the time my clients come out going, oh my

00:16:18
god, suddenly I feel so much lighter, physically, mentally,

00:16:23
emotionally, spiritually. Because that's the first thing

00:16:27
that I focus on, on first session. Because in kind of

00:16:30
releasing that burden and baggage, what happens? We

00:16:33
automatically feel the lightness, and then once we feel

00:16:36
that lightness, we're like, well, this feels good. How much

00:16:39
lighter can I feel? How much more peaceful can I feel? I've

00:16:43
had clients in the past, not too many, because I do tell my

00:16:46
clients, look, you're going to feel inner peace. You're going

00:16:49
to feel but I had a few clients years ago contact me and say,

00:16:53
this is weird for me. And I said, What is weird? And one of

00:16:57
my clients, she said, I feel empty. I was like, is that

00:17:00
emptiness, or is that peace? And she paused for a moment, and she

00:17:04
was like, Oh my God, I feel peaceful, like my thoughts are

00:17:08
not driving me crazy. Suddenly, everything is calm in here. And

00:17:13
I said, That's peace, and that's your nature. You just forgot

00:17:16
about it. And she started crying, because, you know, we

00:17:20
were just we forgot who we are, and that's the saddest part, but

00:17:24
now it's time for us to get back to who we are.

00:17:27
Manon Bolliger: Definitely it's, it's the it's the right time.

00:17:31
Kristine Ovsepian: It is so the right time.

00:17:34
Unknown: One question I have for you, how do you work with these

00:17:39
two different notions? Okay? One of them is that are about, I

00:17:44
think they say 88% I don't know, 90% of all our thoughts,

00:17:49
apparently, are negative thoughts that's in it. And the

00:17:55
other thought, or, you know, what is also shared is that the

00:18:01
unconscious is there to protect you, right? So you would think,

00:18:07
how are those two different statements compatible or

00:18:13
incompatible? Or, how would you? How do you

00:18:17
Kristine Ovsepian: Yes, so I'll answer the first one, and then

00:18:20
you'll ask me, I actually, I'll answer the second part, and

00:18:23
you'll ask me the first question again, and then I'll answer

00:18:26
that. For some reason I want to answer backwards, but there's no

00:18:30
backwards or forwards. So to me, I always describe our ego,

00:18:34
logical brain, this protective side of us, the masculine, as

00:18:39
two layers to that, there's the healthy version and then there's

00:18:43
the unhealthy version. The healthy version is the one that

00:18:46
we all need and need to have. That's why, when spiritual

00:18:50
people oftentimes say, oh, kill the ego. Now that is part of our

00:18:56
human experience, and as long as we're alive, guess what? We have

00:18:59
an ego, but that ego can be healthy and unhealthy. So the

00:19:03
healthy one is the one that you know, I'm not going to go put

00:19:06
myself in a dangerous situation, right? I'm not going to run

00:19:09
across a freeway and say I'm spiritual. I won't get hurt.

00:19:13
Yes, you're going to get hurt. I'm not going to go jump off of

00:19:16
something that I know is going to hurt my body permanently or

00:19:19
or temporarily. So that's the healthy ego. We don't ever want

00:19:23
to, you know, numb that, because that's just our nature. So the

00:19:29
unhealthy ego is the one that simply says, You can't do this,

00:19:33
you can't do that, and it becomes the can't, you're not

00:19:36
smart enough, you're not good enough. And that part of our

00:19:39
brain is really the programming that we got starting childhood,

00:19:43
what we were told, which is why, when I tell my clients, close

00:19:46
your eyes and tell me, whose voice is it, and they

00:19:48
immediately go to one parent or another or a bully or a

00:19:52
combination. So that's the unhealthy part that we're

00:19:56
working with. We we nurture the health. Part and we basically

00:20:03
with love, as I always say, yelling, screaming is never

00:20:06
going to work. Majority of the time, people are so caught up in

00:20:10
their negativity that they basically punish themselves.

00:20:16
They are their own bullies, right? As I always tell my

00:20:19
clients, well, that person is no longer bullying you, that person

00:20:22
is no longer hurting you work verbally, physically or in any

00:20:25
formal way, but you're doing it to yourself, and oftentimes I'm

00:20:29
looked at like, Oh my God. I didn't even realize that,

00:20:33
because it becomes our no so how does our brain work? Our brain

00:20:36
does not realize reality from fiction, right from wrong, good

00:20:39
from bad. It's just repetition, whatever, which is why there's

00:20:43
the mind manipulation. Is a real thing that people can be

00:20:46
manipulated to feel like they're, like, literally capable

00:20:51
of anything. And then there's people who are given the

00:20:54
programming of, you're not good enough, you're not smart enough,

00:20:56
you can't do it. And they end up, you know, getting caught up

00:20:59
in that story and repeating that throughout their life. So this

00:21:04
is where I go deeper into that, and I remind my clients or

00:21:09
anybody that I'm even in this situation, that we're having

00:21:12
this conversation to the listeners saying that you are in

00:21:16
control of your own life. It's time for us to take

00:21:19
responsibility for that and realize we are in control. We're

00:21:22
either gonna let our past control our life, or we're gonna

00:21:25
say whatever what my past was I had of I don't come from a very

00:21:30
joyful childhood. I come from a very challenging childhood, but

00:21:34
I took that and while much of my life, this is why I was

00:21:38
struggling in accounting for so long because I was victimizing

00:21:44
myself. And the moment I realized, well, wait a minute,

00:21:46
I'm not a victim. I don't want to be a victim, because being a

00:21:50
victim means I'm not growing, I'm not expanding, I'm not

00:21:54
creating, and the moment I realized I'm not a victim, I am

00:21:58
capable of that change, my entire world changed. So that's

00:22:04
kind of how I would describe that. And then if you can ask

00:22:07
me, maybe I answered the first question already, but if I

00:22:09
didn't, please go ahead. Yeah.

00:22:13
Unknown: So which one was the first one I asked you? It was

00:22:16
the the the negative thoughts and the self protection, those

00:22:21
are the two.

00:22:22
Kristine Ovsepian: Yeah, so the negative thoughts is the

00:22:23
programming that we got from childhood, absolutely. Because,

00:22:27
again, if a child is born, if I'm not mistaken, they'll quote

00:22:31
me on this, but I think it was Einstein's mother when he was

00:22:34
taken to school, and the teacher wrote the mom a letter and gave

00:22:37
the mom a letter when she went to pick him up, and the letter

00:22:40
said, don't bring your child back to the school. He's too

00:22:43
stupid. And the mom read that letter, and you know, the little

00:22:47
Einstein said, Well, Mom, what does it say? And she said, dear

00:22:51
teacher said, You are so smart you don't belong in school. So

00:22:55
then she homeschooled him, and he became a genius. You know

00:22:58
what? I mean? That's the difference between what's

00:23:01
specially a parent, what information a parent gives their

00:23:05
child. Because every child in this world, no matter how great

00:23:09
or how awful a parent can be, every child is seeking for their

00:23:13
parents love and validation and acceptance. So if the parent is

00:23:17
giving you the power of you can do anything. You can be

00:23:20
anything. And I can put money on this, because 16 years I see my

00:23:25
clients whose parents did that, and I see my clients, majority

00:23:29
of my clients whose parents didn't do that, then said, No,

00:23:32
you got to keep your head down. You're just a girl, right? That

00:23:35
story or being to men or boys being told you're not a sissy,

00:23:41
you're not a girl. Don't cry. Don't be so weak, right? All

00:23:44
that information affects us. So now it's just programming. But

00:23:50
the beautiful part about the mind is that just as it gets

00:23:53
programmed, it can get reprogrammed, just like a

00:23:56
computer, right? If you don't like the information that's in

00:23:58
there, if you don't like the apps in your phone, change them,

00:24:01
uninstall and install new ones. And our brain works the exact

00:24:05
same way, right?

00:24:07
Unknown: And I did ask this a little bit, but I just want a

00:24:10
clarifying point here, like you're putting in new

00:24:14
information, but does the client? Do you think it's

00:24:22
useful, or it makes no difference that the client

00:24:25
understands that, that it's unconsciously that they're

00:24:31
saying negative things, for example, or that it's their

00:24:34
upbringing, or that they were told this, or like, in other

00:24:38
words, does it work to just give positive feedback, or is it

00:24:44
important to make peace or bring up or identify

00:24:51
Kristine Ovsepian: these acknowledging, identifying is

00:24:54
very important, because if we don't know what the problem is,

00:24:58
how do we fix the problem? Right? Okay, so majority of my

00:25:01
clients that come to me don't even know where the problem is

00:25:04
coming from, and then when they realize, wait a minute, I

00:25:07
remember when I was five years old, my dad did this, or my

00:25:09
father that my mom said that, or, or I watched this and I

00:25:13
observed that acknowledgement is really the first step, because

00:25:16
the moment we realized also, am I really the problem? You know

00:25:21
what I mean? Because the average person, because from childhood,

00:25:25
was so much of the time we're told, don't say that, don't do

00:25:28
that. That's wrong. Don't jump, don't don't run, don't laugh too

00:25:33
much, don't we end up not trusting ourselves, and if we

00:25:37
don't trust ourselves, how do we really feel empowered to do

00:25:42
anything, right? So acknowledgement is the first

00:25:46
step of really realizing because it's not about pointing fingers.

00:25:52
I always tell my clients, it's not about especially with

00:25:55
certain cultures, including mine, oftentimes it's so

00:25:59
difficult for the child to say, my mom did this to me. Because

00:26:03
the average client that comes to me, they go, Well, my parents

00:26:07
were so great. They did the best that they can. But then your

00:26:11
life currently is full of fear, full of limitation, lack of

00:26:14
love, lack of success, lack of money, lack of happiness.

00:26:20
Where's all that coming from? Then in that case, your life

00:26:23
should be perfect, right, at least close to being perfect.

00:26:27
But if it's not, then we need to acknowledge, Okay, where is the

00:26:31
problem coming from? Because if we find it with anything, once

00:26:34
we find the problem, we know how to solve it.

00:26:38
Unknown: So and that process to identify what the problem is, in

00:26:43
other words, what negative thoughts people might have. So

00:26:49
is that where you put people into a bit of a trance, where

00:26:55
you're asking them guided questions that allows this to

00:26:59
come up, so you can identify what it is, so

00:27:02
Kristine Ovsepian: that, so that can be a process of when I

00:27:05
noticed my client is stuck somewhere, and we can't get the

00:27:09
kind of information I would even in hypnosis, ask a question and

00:27:14
have their consciousness answer me out loud or internally, and

00:27:20
then they can basically, we'll come back and we discuss it. But

00:27:25
overall, it can happen at any time. It can happen in the

00:27:28
cognitive part. It can happen during the hypnotherapy part. It

00:27:32
just depends on the situation.

00:27:34
Unknown: Okay, interesting, yeah, so you've been doing this.

00:27:38
How long now?

00:27:39
Kristine Ovsepian: 16 years. Wow, since 2009

00:27:43
Unknown: Yeah, incredible. Yeah, yeah. I mean, just comes to show

00:27:48
if you're not happy with something, keep looking right.

00:27:53
Kristine Ovsepian: Absolutely. That was my greatest goal, even

00:27:57
you know, in writing my books, because I see so many people

00:28:00
getting hurt and losing their lives for no reason. There's

00:28:04
absolutely no reason, and there's just as long as we keep

00:28:08
seeking, we will find the answers. That's my biggest

00:28:11
message now to people that keep seeking, keep looking. Don't

00:28:15
give in. Don't give up. There's always an answer. The Divine is

00:28:19
like Unlimited, unlimited resources, unlimited

00:28:23
possibilities, where there's a will, there's always a way. I

00:28:26
live many of years of my life that way, with that intention,

00:28:31
where there's a will, there's always a way.

00:28:34
Unknown: Okay, well, thank you very much for sharing you know,

00:28:38
your your life experience, and your, yeah, your shift, and how

00:28:43
it came to be, and that you stepped into really enjoying who

00:28:49
you are and

00:28:50
Kristine Ovsepian: helping people. Thank you. Thank you for

00:28:53
having me. And I love sharing.

00:28:54
Unknown: The part I want to draw out a little bit from the

00:28:57
discussion with Christine, is this not to give up. You know,

00:29:03
when you're not feeling aligned in what you're doing. And it

00:29:07
could be, you know, a type of practice you're doing doesn't

00:29:11
have to be accounting or something completely different.

00:29:14
But just keep seeking, keep looking, keep being open.

00:29:18
Because in her case, you know her, her mind took over. Her

00:29:23
body broke down. When you can wait till it does, hold on. But

00:29:26
you know one doesn't need to right. Just notice that it

00:29:30
doesn't feel right and and then start investigating what what

00:29:35
feels better, and what is it? And you know, in that

00:29:38
Christine's case, she always wanted to help people and help

00:29:42
people with accounting and doing many different things, but I

00:29:45
think she had something specific in mind. And I think you know,

00:29:49
if you don't explore it right, part of what this series of

00:29:56
talks on the healers Cafe is. Blooming, how people decided to

00:30:03
become what they became, and why they're doing what they're

00:30:06
doing, and how they aligned to all that. So one of the

00:30:10
takeaways with the discussion with Christine, for me, was

00:30:14
really not to give up. You know, if things don't feel right,

00:30:19
they're not right until they become until you find yourself

00:30:23
in something that really works for you, and while you're in

00:30:30
something that does not, you know, the body is very wise.

00:30:34
They will find a million ways to break down. The mind is very

00:30:38
smart too. It'll sabotage everything and ruin everything

00:30:42
so that you can't do what it is that you're doing. It's sort of

00:30:47
like it creates its own excuses. But imagine being able to listen

00:30:53
and know that you're not aligned with what you're currently doing

00:30:58
and make a different decision and spend some time really

00:31:02
searching, what is it that you see yourself doing in life? What

00:31:08
is it that brings you joy, that that you feel, that you're

00:31:14
you're here to do so, yeah.

00:31:18
